Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 130
1 Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
2 Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.
3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5 I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
6 I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7 Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
8 He himself will redeem Israel
from all their sins.
I went to the doctor yesterday because the scab on my knee from my fall three weeks ago is just not healing as it should. He gave me medication but also said some things that were discouraging (such as saying that if it doesn’t heal . . . skin graft). Between the itch and discomfort of the knee, my normal insomnia, and a brain that wouldn’t shut down, I have gotten NO sleep yet. I’m due to take the medicine again in another hour or so, so at this point I’m staying up till after that and then I’ll try to nap.
I would appreciate prayer that it would heal.

The Boy has a bad double ear infection. He is home today from Rec, as he was yesterday, so please pray that he will be feeling well enough to go tomorrow and the rest of the week. (Puppy Janie has an ear infection, too.)
Nightingale is working all this week through Sunday, but woke up with a low-grade fever this morning, as well as feeling she could have slept for two hours longer.
She will be working a double shift on Saturday (7am to 11:30pm, if she gets out on time, which doesn’t always happen), and then 7am to 7pm (again, if she gets out on time) on Sunday. So far there are no plans for anyone else to take The Boy for a while on either of those days. Please pray his Gramma will take him for some time one of those days (I don’t think X is up to it yet), and that Chickadee will want to visit on the other.
My friend Ruthie has been having problems with the contractor rebuilding their house. (It had been destroyed by fire last September.) He seems to say he’ll do something and then not do it. He is angry at her for insisting on certain details she wants. For example, they wanted noise-silencing insulation, but he is using regular insulation. She is very frustrated, and the contractor refuses to talk to her anymore.

My friend Linda who visited last week is home in Tucson and will have her knee replaced today. It’s the right decision but she’s a little nervous. Thanks.

Oh, and thanks for prayers for me. I was in my right mind all day yesterday and it was a pleasure, even for me.
