Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 66
1 Shout for joy to God, all the earth!
2 Sing the glory of his name;
make his praise glorious.
3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!
So great is your power
that your enemies cringe before you.
4 All the earth bows down to you;
they sing praise to you,
they sing the praises of your name.”
5 Come and see what God has done,
his awesome deeds for mankind!
6 He turned the sea into dry land,
they passed through the waters on foot—
come, let us rejoice in him.
7 He rules forever by his power,
his eyes watch the nations—
let not the rebellious rise up against him.
8 Praise our God, all peoples,
let the sound of his praise be heard;
9 he has preserved our lives
and kept our feet from slipping.
10 For you, God, tested us;
you refined us like silver.
11 You brought us into prison
and laid burdens on our backs.
12 You let people ride over our heads;
we went through fire and water,
but you brought us to a place of abundance.
13 I will come to your temple with burnt offerings
and fulfill my vows to you—
14 vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke
when I was in trouble.
15 I will sacrifice fat animals to you
and an offering of rams;
I will offer bulls and goats.
16 Come and hear, all you who fear God;
let me tell you what he has done for me.
17 I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue.
18 If I had cherished sin in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened;
19 but God has surely listened
and has heard my prayer.
20 Praise be to God,
who has not rejected my prayer
or withheld his love from me!
I know in the scheme of things, this is less important, but my Little Boy, Amos, isn’t well. Last night he started shaking. I put him in the chair with me under a throw and he continued for about 20 minutes. When we went to be he didn’t come with us; I had to go get him. This morning when the alarm rang he didn’t come cuddle with me. I had to pick him up and take him to the back door. He stayed out longer than Lulabelle, to the point I was worried. He didn’t eat his breakfast, and when I picked him up to put him back in the bed with Mr. P he cried like I had hurt him. You all know that he is the “love of my life and healed my broken heart”. I am not ready for him to break my heart. Please say a little prayer for King Amos Isaac.

Kim, do you have a vet appointment for him to figure out what is wrong? How old is he?

I prayed for you, by the way, and I had images of you and your cute, dear little friend. I hope that whatever is causing the problem is treatable and you have more time with him.

They are our family and for some of us the Lord has brought them into our lives to bring healing and comfort in very difficult seasons…I know firsthand. Praying for you Kim and for King Amos… ❤️

Aw, prayers, Kim. If he doesn’t start eating and acting better later today, I’d definitely make an appt with the vet. Keep an eye on him, either way. Could be a pinched nerve or something that’ll resolve itself, but probably worth running a test or two if he doesn’t perk up soon.

Kim – Your request for Amos is indeed important. We know, and God knows, what a blessing and a comfort that little doggie has been to you. Praying he will be better soon, and you will have much more time together. (Like Cheryl, I was wondering how old he is. Doesn’t seem that long ago we were reading about you getting him, but I know it’s been several years.)

I was thinking Kim had had Amos longer than she had had us . . . but my memory isn’t always trustworthy, and I think I do remember hearing about when he was a puppy.
