Happy belated anniversary, NJ. We are just a tad ahead of you in years married. Difficult to believe!
Difficult to believe this blog is 14 years now, too! I am sorry for those who felt they needed to cut people off because of difference of opinion, but everyone needs to do what they think is right.
Our trip was wonderful. We laughed so hard, learned so much of the history of the area and ate some wonderful food. There was something for everyone.
My oldest daughter showed up in the same t-shirt I was wearing, so my youngest daughter wore hers the next day. The missing daughter took a picture of her (unprompted) so the youngest used AI to add her to a picture of the three of us. I could not believe how real this looked. I would have never been able to tell she was not there. I bought these shirts for all of them to give last Christmas.
I appreciate the tour guides, who were so informative and the ones volunteering at the museums. They add so much. I really appreciate the museums that had scavenger hunt sheets for the children. Our two youngest grands were all over this activity. Every single guide and volunteer was wonderful.
Our final arrangements have been set and now to make an appt with our attorney to tweek our wills. Such a strange time of life but necessary.
Earache is back and I’m on a cancellation list at the ENT… but did get an appt for a week and an half away! Allergies seem to be the culprit! Asking the Lord for a sooner than later freeze this fall. Looking at the forecast that doesn’t seem likely anytime soon!! Summer will not relent 😢

Good morning. I finally posted late yesterday. I have so little energy after trying to take care of things in two locales. I can do neither justice.
Your trip does sound perfect, Kathaleena. So glad it went so smoothly for all.
AJ’s cat tales are fun. All you need now is to add some catnip in the mix for an even wilder experience.

We have been to the bank and Sam’s this morning. Thankful Art could take me. There were no lines. That is a big blessing.

Toys everywhere, yet they attacked Cheryl’s small stuffed kitties on her work desk. And the cords….Lol
Gonna have to break them of that.
But they’re a lot of fun, and they make Cheryl happy.
