Okay, folks. Here are your picks for the 9th week of the college football season. There are a few Top 25 matchups this time. And AJ chose the tie breaker.
Have fun! Chose by 12 NOON Saturday, 10/28

Hey Teacher! I have a question. If I chose a word to choose yesterday and the word I chose to choose was “choose”. would the word I chose to choose become “chose” today?
The winning entry:
West Virginia
K State (Mizzou fans never go for Kansas)
Colorado State
The Ohio State Univ
Georgia
South Carolina
Nebraska
Clemson
Coastal Carolina
Southern Mississippi 30-28
Thanks for the clarification, Chas. You and I remember when 21-7 was a normal football score. But times have changed and the scores are higher these days.
I was wondering what that was doing here. It’s okay to put politics here, especially with the sports reference. Just don’t put sports on the politics thread, unless it’s about the NFL players. Of course, it’s up to the blog owner to decide. But AJ can put whatever he wants wherever he wants. He also is our first back to back winner in the picks this year. He got 8 correct. Mumsee was second with 7 and the rest of us got 6 correct.
Oklahoma State
Kansas State
Air Force
Penn State
Georgia
South Carolina
Nebraska

Mumsee – I choose not to answer that question, in that the choice I chose might not be the one chosen by grammarians.
DJ- In how many games?

I didn’t have time to check out campuses for the prettiness factor, so this week the theme will have to be State :–)

Does anyone remember rooting for “Them Bums”?

Chas- I remember the saying, but forget whether it referred to the Yankees or the Brooklyn Dodgers.
And I think you just need to post your winner choice for the tie breaker, since you always pick the same score.

“Them Bums” were the Brooklyn Dodgers. Only Brooklyn fans were allowed to say that.
I figure 21-7 is about the most reasonable outcome in a football game.

Sorry about that. I was wondering where that post went. It was supposed to go on the politics thread.

So, AJ, pick another tie breaker for next week.
