Psalm 124
1 If the Lord had not been on our side—
let Israel say—
2 if the Lord had not been on our side
when people attacked us,
3 they would have swallowed us alive
when their anger flared against us;
4 the flood would have engulfed us,
the torrent would have swept over us,
5 the raging waters
would have swept us away.
6 Praise be to the Lord,
who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
7 We have escaped like a bird
from the fowler’s snare;
the snare has been broken,
and we have escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

There is a slight reduction in my asthma symptoms today. Thanks for praying and keep praying that the inflammation in my lungs will go down completely.

Thankful for a good first week of camp. Several children went home (homesick) and a large storm caused several trees to fall – one grazing a cabin, but no one was hurt. Next camp is junior teen (ages 12-14) and it starts tomorrow.

Little Guy still sometimes shows evidence of some emotional disturbance or something. Please pray for inner healing, & most of all, for him to have a heart for God.

Keeping it real…I have been trudging through this week concerning letting go. Friday was sad for me as that is my normal every Friday day at work, which is no longer. The hurtful words said to me keep reverberating in my mind and is painful. I choose to forgive but this has been difficult walking away….

Remember that the words repeating in your head are not from the Lord. Take every thought captive, make yourself stop and praise Him. Every time one of those thoughts raises its ugly head, praise Him. He will walk you through it and lift you up. It is difficult but you know where you want to be and the enemy knows where he wants you. Praise the Lord and let Him clean your thoughts.
