Prayer Requests 4-10-17

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 37:1-11

Do not fret because of those who are evil
    or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
    like green plants they will soon die away.

Trust in the Lord and do good;
    dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.

Be still before the Lord
    and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
    when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
    do not fret—it leads only to evil.
For those who are evil will be destroyed,
    but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
    though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
    and enjoy peace and prosperity.

  1. I know this has all been so fast for all of Kaitlyn’s friends and family, but one day they will be grateful she didn’t suffer long.
    Kare, I hope this helps you and any you share it with…. It was sent to me a long time ago now.

    Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
    I’m following the path God laid for me.
    I took his hand when I heard his call,
    I turned my back and left it all.

    I could not stay another day,
    To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
    Tasks left undone must stay that way,
    I’ve found that peace at the close of the day.

    If my parting has left a void,
    Then fill it with remembered joy.
    A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
    Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

    Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
    I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
    My Life’s been full, I savoured much,
    Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch,

    Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
    Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
    Lift up your heart and share with me,
    God wanted me now, He set me free.

  2. Oh, and the boyfriend isn’t out of the picture yet….
    Yesterday afternoon BG had on a cami underneath a wife beater/ripped gym type “t-shirt” and a pair of skinny jeans. Mr. P got a good look at her. She has lost so much weight and the fat reserves women should have. He spent the rest of the afternoon lecturing me on how unhealthy she is….well, duh, people! What have I been saying???? Her stepmother sent home some fiber/protein balls (nuts, peanut butter and who knows what else) to try to help her.
    We have our mother/daughter therapy session on Thursday if anyone would like to say a prayer about that….

  3. And still praying for Jon and friends and family.

    Husband is in Boise for his infusion, unless the doc decides that is not working and he needs to try something else. Wisdom.

  5. Infusion of whatever that gunk is they put into his veins. He sits in a room with a group of others, snoring, while an IV pours meds into his veins for six to eight hours. He does that today and again in a couple of weeks and then again in six months. Or not, depending on if they think it is helping him or not.

  6. Please pray for wisdom with my students. There was another incident on the playground yesterday, after last week two of my boys needed stitches. I am feeling that one boy is spoiled and wants his way and needs reining in. And the little one is not speaking much again after the break, yet wants to get in my lap and then climb on me as if I was a mountain. Always something new and I need wisdom moment by moment.

  7. Good early morning. It’s Ann. I’m on my cell. Please pray for Lindsey’s concussion symptoms to resolve soon. She’s still experiencing a lot of headaches, nausea and exhaustion…. she’s attending school hall days , per doctors orders. She’s going to vestibular therapy twice a week–which is very expensive, as we’ve not yet met our deductible….
