Peter’s Pack of Pickled Pigskin Picks 2016-Week 11

The election and the World Series are over. Now it’s time to get down to the real event of autumn: College Football. So, pick your winners and guess the tie breaker. Entries must be received by 12 NOON EST, Saturday, November 12, 2016 in order to be eligible for the prize. And you know what that means. Actually, I don’t either. Since I am so sleepy after staying up for election returns, there are 2 extra pillow fights this week.

Here they are:

   1. Baylor @ #11 Oklahoma

   2. South Carolina @ Florida

   3. Kentucky @ Tennessee

   4. Minnesota @ #19 Nebraska

   5. #20 USC @ #4 Washington

   6. Georgia Tech @ #14 Virginia Tech

   7. Southern Utah @ BYU

   8. Almost B1G 10 Pillow Fight: Rutgers (2-7) @ Michigan State (2-7)

   9. Big 12 Pillow Fight: Iowa State (1-8) @ Kansas (1-8)

 10. Tie breaker and SEC East Pillow Fight: Pick winner and final score: Vanderbilt (1-4 SEC) @ Mizzou (0-5 SEC)

  3. Time to influence the rest of the crowd so they know what not to pick.
    1. The Sooners send Baylor packing.
    2. Normally, Gators eat chicken, burt not the Gamecocks. So Carolina wins!
    3. I Volunteer that the Wildcats lose.
    4. Thought the game is on Lincoln, the ‘Huskers have shown they are not up to par. Go Gophers!
    5. Huskies show the Trojans they are on the way to being PAC 12 champs.
    6. In a game of techies, the home team wins, even with a Hokie mascot. Just what is a Hokie anyway?
    7. BYU Cougars in a rout.
    8. It’s an off year for the Spartans, but the Knights are worse, despite both records being the same.
    9. Cyclones blow the Jayhawks away. (Gotta go with the team from Iowa, you know.)
    10. Tigers at home, though weak, can beat the Commodores, but don’t expect a lot of offense. In fact, we in Missouri take offense at the team this year. Mizzou 17-14.

  5. 😦 Football is a stupid game. Just a bunch of huge guys running into tech other and throwing them on the ground.
Not only that, but Purdue lost to Northwestern.
Who’s ever heard of loosing to Northwestern?
Maybe loosing to Vanderbilt, but not Northwestern.

  6. Yes indeed the West Coast SC cost kbells another win, thus breaking her streak. Really, though, she would have lost to Tychicus if Washington had won, since he had a better tie breaker score. The winner is RickyW! Here are the results:

    Ricky 9
    Tychicus, Chas & Kbells 8
    Travis 7
AJ & I had 6 (AJ was only off by 2 on the tie breaker!)
    Kevin 5
    Mumsee 4

    Game scores:
    Oklahoma 45 Baylor 24
    Florida 20 So Carolina 7
    Tenn 49 Kentucky 36
    Neb 24 Minn 17
    USC 26 Wash 13
Ga Tech 30 Va Tech 20
    BYU 37 So Utah 7
    Mich St 49 Rutgers 0
    Iowa St 31 Kansas 24
    Mizzu-RAH 26 Vandy 17

Okay, Ricky, what’s it going to be for week 12?
