Prayer Requests 8-12-16

Psalm 111

¹Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

  2. I’m sometimes feeling overwhelmed with all the house stuff in the works, still trying to juggle the job on top of it all. Praying I can find good and affordable people to do the rest of it. (Also, I’m praying that nothing serious is found during the foundation check tomorrow morning.)

  4. Wisdom. While I was out mowing, daughter went into the kitchen and made herself a sandwich and went into the guest room to find some shoes I had put away so she would not run away, and went to town on her bike. I had told her not to ride to town while the grain trucks were running as it is too much traffic. She was looking for the Catholic Church, a job, the library, and the swimming pool. One could almost call that running away as she did not tell me she was going but left a note. Now I will have to not let her stay in the house while I am out working, locking all doors and windows. She already has shown a willingness to break windows when she is outside. We have a medical appt for her to set her up for more help. But that is not until mid September. I will continue to log her actions and attitude. Prayers for wisdom. Thanks.
