Prayer Requests 7-28-16

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 95

¹O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11 Unto whom I swear in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

  1. I have an appointment with a dentist at 8:00. Please pray the damage isn’t too extensive and can be repaired fairly easily. Also , that my bowels will settle before then…

  2. You’re going to the auto shop to fix and get parts for your foot? 🙂 Ah, that was “for my car” I see at the end. Praying both are healed soon!

You too, Ann, I just asked on the daily thread how the tooth was doing. Praying it’s an easy, painless fix.

  3. Need prayers for 4th Arrow. Back to Urgent Care with her (costochondritis symptoms, we think, but possibly other, worse things — pain in the back of her head and dizzy spells). 6th Arrow already has a Lyme’s Disease follow-up appt. scheduled for 2:15 today. I don’t want to cancel that appt., but I’m getting anxious to get 4th Arrow in as soon as possible.

I need wisdom. Feel like crying, wishing I could be in two places at once, and I just need to hold it together for a few hours.

    Thanks so much for prayers.

  4. Father God,

I lift up the needs mentioned here for healing today, as quickly as possible, for Jo, Annms, and the Arrows family members. You’ve heard their needs and knew all about their troubles before they asked here for prayer. Please give needed remedies for each individual and take away their pains and distress. I,also pray for the car parts to be delivered and replaced in a timely and effective manner for Jo’s car.

I also lift up my brother’s continuing need for employment. We’ve been asking for a long time. Please make a way soon for him to be employed once again.

I pray for KarenO’s daughter Chrissy, and for YF to see in truth the full situation of the path they are on. Help them to be long-sighted to envision their true needs. Help them proceed with setting goals for self improvement. Please make a situation where they must face the truth. Help Chrissy to see with fresh vision the love that her birth family has for her. Please make a way to maturity for all the girls in that household. Please encourage the dad to take on the responsibility of leadership that leads to getting all on board with the good plans You have for all in that household.

    In Jesus, Amen

  5. Long day, but the news was good for 6th Arrow. Looks like the doxycycline was effective in wiping out the Lyme’s, and there is no apparent need for further follow-up.

After I got home from the clinic with her, I was back on the road again with 4th Arrow within ten minutes. We were at Urgent Care from 3:45 until 8:15 tonight. Too many symptoms to list, but all her blood work came back normal, as did the blood pressure and pulse readings taken while lying down, then sitting up, then standing.

There was one test that was inconclusive — an EKG. The PA we saw sent it to a pediatric cardiologist, who read it and reported that 4th Arrow may have one or more areas where her heart is enlarged.

They will call tomorrow to set up an echocardiogram and follow-up with a pediatric cardiologist, probably the same one who read her EKG tonight.

Please continue to pray for my daughter (15 years old). And thank you.

  6. 6, so glad they’re doing these tests and will be on top of whatever is going on. You’ve all had a stressful day. (But yay on the Lyme’s Disease being history.)

  7. Foot is feeling better.
Auto shop had the parts and came to school for the keys. Now my car isn’t here. Not sure what is happening, but at least something is happening

  8. Praying for you arrows 6…..we did have a similar situation with Hannah when she was 17…pain, dizzy, muscles constricting, fainting. We were referred to a pediatric cardiologist and he put her through stress tests, ekg, echocardiogram….his diagnosis was not getting enough oxygen…heart would begin racing causing fainting…solution..paper bag…breathe into a paper bag. We had another episode leading us back to ER…the doc there thought she had POTS…our family doctor said no she didn’t and diagnosed her with low blood pressure suggesting she take in more salt…which was the answer. She’s fine and dandy now…praying your precious one has a clear diagnosis and healing forthwith…. ❤
