¹Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbor: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
Health concerns with both my husband and me. Prayers appreciated.
Also, please pray for two individuals, one of whom I know, who were involved in a car-motorcycle accident. For complete physical healing for S, the motorcyclist (and praise to God that S is now out of his medically-induced coma — it took him eight days to wake up after they stopped sedation). And peace for B, the driver of the car that struck S. Terrible intersection where it happened, everyone agrees, and she didn’t see S until it was too late. Hard situation for the young woman, but she is coping better as S improves, and the doctor sees no reason that S shouldn’t have a complete recovery.
My daughter, Teri, is really struggling with carpel tunnel symptoms and swelling from her pregnancy. All prayers for wisdom for her and her doctors and a relief from those symptoms would be appreciated.
You give, give, give all the time. Your generosity never wanes. How do You do that? We give out and wear out, but You never do. I can never praise You enough for Your giving, Your making, Your loving, and Your all!
You have heard about the people in that accident mentioned by 6 Arrows, about Kathaleena’s daughter,Terri, with the swelling and carpel tunnel syndrome, about Elvera’s health situation and Chas’ concerns over his beloved, about 6 Arrows and her husband’s health issues, about Art’s upcoming surgery/procedure, about my brother’s need for employment, and hundreds of other things in my realm. You are aware of all my concerns and hopes for Your goodness and glory to be revealed in each of these situations. It seems like too much yet somehow You manage to give good gifts of healing, relief, jobs, general and desperate helps, and all that on top of covering basic needs to sustain life. Thank You for working out Your good plans in each of these sweet people’s lives. Please do not let one feel neglected when they call out to You. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
Please pray for Lee to get a better-paying job. Don’t get me wrong – we are so very thankful that God brought this one to him so quickly after he sold his route (& we continue to be so thankful that the route finally sold!). But it is a rather low-paying (hourly) job, & due to some changes, he is not working as many hours as when he started.
He has put his resume into some places, including one that is currently hiring (& he has exactly what they’re looking for).
Lee also recently said he is praying for a new brain. Sounds like he was kidding, but he is really discouraged about the lack of clarity/organization in his thinking patterns. This is not a new, age-related thing, but the way he has always thought. I won’t get into more detail, but will just say that he is frustrated with himself, & needs a change in thought patterns.

Karen, I understand. I am also working on changing thought patterns. It isn’t easy.

My daughter is 32 weeks along right now. There are some challenges, including the possibility of an earlier than usual delivery.
