Husband is very stubborn. He is driving himself to his cataract surgery. He has seventeen year old with him for the drive back. I told them, if it is evident to seventeen year old that old guy is not seeing, he needs to switch places. It is a bit over an hour to town. Prayers for the drive and the success of the laser surgery and the drive home. He has to be there at 8:30 but the surgery is not until two this afternoon. Thanks.
That hubby of yours reminds me of a certain hubby I know. 😉 Prayers.
(Although mine has done very well these last few weeks not pushing the limits since his surgery.)
Hubby went back to work yesterday. Though he won’t be doing any heavy-duty anything this week, he has to be on his feet a lot, moving around a big warehouse. Four hours of that yesterday (or rather, what was supposed to be four hours, but turned out to be more like five hours because of delays with trucks arriving or something) wore him out, and he was experiencing a fair amount of achiness after he got home. A little bit of moaning and groaning along with it, which I haven’t heard in a while.
He’s been wearing soft pants around home during his recovery, but wore jeans to work yesterday, as usual, and the inflexibility of that material irritated the surgical scar.
Please pray he’ll not overdo things, now that he’s back to work. Some of his old drive is beginning to come back, and that’s not necessarily a good thing — actually, not at all a good thing in this context, in my opinion.
My husband had a good report back from the lab yesterday. His doctor must have really scared him last time. He managed to get his blood sugar number into the ‘ok’ zone again. He has been walking almost everyday and eating better. Makes this wife very happy.
Praying for your husbands. They can be just as stubborn as we wives. 😉
One of the men my husband jams with has had health issues. They came to a head last week and he is being hospitalized after a suicide attempt. Please pray for Terry and his wife. They are ‘all over’ with spiritual issues, so need prayer for that, as well.
Today’s example and post of what true love looks like. Please say a prayer for them.
Today’s been a difficult day. I had to have a hospital bed moved into my home and something about that just terrified me but now that it’s here I have peace about that decision. Tonight M is resting peacefully and the hospital bed is right up against our bed! Please continue to pray for my precious husband that he won’t be in pain, that he will feel safe and loved , and know that his family and friends adore him. Pray for me that I will make good decisions concerning his care and the things we have facing us. This is the last thing I’ll ever get to do for M and I want to do it well! Also please remember our children who are also hurting.
Husband should be going under the laser in a few minutes. It is only a five minute procedure, but takes all day with paperwork. But he left his phone home so I have not bothered him. He was not happy with our gov’t when he got up this morning, thinking he had the taxes done only to find they wanted more. The license numbers including expiration dates of all the licensed drivers in the home. Prayer for the eye doctor and prayer for our government. Thanks.
Son called, procedure is done and they are off to do the grocery shopping. Son is driving. Husband let him take over about twenty minutes down the road.

Prayers for the above, & for any other requests that may be posted today. I still can’t “like” anything. 😦

That makes no sense. Licensed drivers do not have known expiration except by the Hand that made them. The expirations of each of their licenses.

Why would they need that, mumsee?
Glad it is over.

Because our government is an ever growing body of bureaucrats who need something to do, would be my guess.
