  1. Funny meme on Facebook last night.
2045: Grandpa, how did President Trump ever get elected?
Well, we were a bit distracted that back then. That was the year adult coloring books came out.

And THAT my dear people about sums it up. I did watch this last night:

I looked up my states primary date. It has been moved to March 1. It usually is some time in the summer when it is too late for my vote to count. Perhaps this year I can have an influence, although I doubt it. Our next president has probably already been picked in some back room deal. Wonder if she will declare herself Queen.

  2. I have lost any respect for Democrats.

Bernie is an honest socialist Democrat. I think his ideas are wrong but he is just a Democrat.

Hillary is a liar. She is not honest. She used her position as Secretary of State to enrich herself and her family. She is a fraud about her husband’s philandering. She and her kind are the reason I cannot respect Democrats.

Democrats refuse to see that their ideas don’t work. They keep doing things that have been proven wrong. They won’t change. And they have the nerve to keep on taking MY money for their foolishness!

P.S. Since Hillary didn’t have a government email, how DID she get classified documents?

  3. Why haven’t news people asked the question,”Since Hillary didn’t have a government email, how DID she get classified documents?”

    Is the answer too damning?

Democrats who want her for President must have their fingers in their ears, their eyes shut and walk around saying “La la la la” all day long.

  4. Our primary isn’t until June, but some are saying we could have an impact for the first time in years — based on this year’s craziness.

But I have a feeling things will start to get sorted out in another month; primaries take place nearly weekly after Iowa, so that should start telling us something.

    Any projections for tonight?

I think Trump will win, Cruz will come in second — as expected — but that Rubio may have a stronger-than-expected third-place showing which could launch him into the Trump-alternative status.

Maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part.

I think Bernie just may win on the Democratic side, but that one might be close.

  5. Oops.

    http://www.religionnews.com/2016/02/01/trump-mistakenly-puts-money-on-the-communion-plate/

(RNS) Donald Trump put a couple of bills in the Communion plate.

“I thought it was for offering,” he explained and laughed, according to a report by The Associated Press.

The accidental offering took place during a church service Trump attended with his wife, Melania, at the nondenominational First Christian Church’s Orchard Campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Sunday (Jan. 31). Trump also took Communion at the service.

  6. Well, if true, this would make a Trump presidency bearable at least…. 😆

“Donald Trump leads the Republican field among federal employees, but many still say they would never work for him.

One in four federal workers would consider leaving their jobs if Trump were elected president, according to a new survey conducted by the Government Business Council, Government Executive Media Group’s research arm. About 14 percent of respondents said they would definitely consider leaving federal service under President Trump, while an additional 11 percent said they might. The findings indicate those leaving government would come from agencies’ top ranks, as a majority of respondents were in General Schedule positions GS-13 and higher.

Nearly as many Democrats said they would consider leaving in a Trump administration as would definitely stay, the survey found. Among Democrats, 42 percent said they would consider leaving, while 48 percent would not. Just 8 percent of Republican feds would consider refusing to work in a Trump presidency.

Overall, 8 percent of respondents said they “don’t know” if they would consider leaving their jobs if Trump prevails in November.”

We could cut the size of govt and remove entrenched partisan Dems and establishment Republicans, because those are the once who’d possibly leave.

See, we just have to look on the bright side…… 🙂

  7. Amusingly interesting post on the Blaze. A reporter asked Sanders supporters to define Socialism. It was sad. So I asked fourteen year old Public School son, knowing this is a year for US Government. He said a Socialist is somebody who enjoys getting together with others and talking a lot. Socialism is people getting together. See, there is hope for our country.

UPDATE: Rubio is closing on Trump. With 99% of precincts reporting, it is Cruz 28%, Trump 24%, Rubio 23%. There probably aren’t enough votes outstanding to allow Rubio to surpass Trump, but the virtual tie for second place is big news. Rubio is overperforming, Trump is underperforming. The spin will go on for the next eight days, but one can’t spin away the obvious. It’s a big night for Rubio. Also, at this point no one other than the big three is in double figures.
