Back to the discussion of Obama from yesterday, he generally strikes me as a rather angry person in general; and I think that’s why so much of what he says and does strikes me as having an underlying spitefulness toward those who dare to disagree with him.
Our pastor posted this clip on FB today with this observation: “It just seems that when you reach a certain level of education, wisdom, maturity and conviction–especially at such a high level–you should have the big issues worked out.”
I’ll give Republicans some credit here for attempting to avoid a shut down by continuing funding at last years levels. Democrats will of course dishonestly portray the lack of increases as cuts, but liars lie and that’s the way it is. 😦

Despite the Republicans’ push, which was a response to videos showing Planned Parenthood executives discussing the use of aborted fetuses in medical research, there were also signs that congressional leaders were counting on a fallback plan to keep the government functioning temporarily, roughly at last year’s spending levels.”
Democrats will of course attempt to protect their Precious, as will the media.
In the last election, the GOP had basically no viable candidates. And were mocked for it. This time around, we have several. And are being mocked for it.
Trump is being attacked for not calling out a man who called Obama a Muslim. They say it is anti-Muslim. Isn’t it more anti- Muslim to offended that someone called you a Muslim than it is to be called a Muslim? If someone called me a Jew or a Catholic I would consider it a mistake but not an insult, because I don’t think it is a bad thing to be Jewish or Catholic.
