I would really prefer “God Bless America” or “:America” (My Country ‘Tis of Thee”.
Both songs are singable. “Star Spangled Banner” is hard to sing and it’s about a flag, not the country.
Kate Smith had this project to make God Bless America the national anthem, but it never took.
“America” has the same tune as “God Save the Queen”. British national anthem.
I like “The Star Spangled Banner.” I like it at the Olympics. I get a thrill or tear-up. Many other countries National Anthems are lame or not at all memorable.
HRW, Christian college students are very polite. It is interesting to contrast Sanders’ reception at Liberty with the near lynching of Michelle Malkin at Cal Berkeley.

Chas: I would go with “God Bless America” or “America the Beautiful” (though the latter in its complete form is very long).
