Psalm 96
¹O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

Meanwhile, Husband left for Boise last night so he would not be traveling all day today. He is staying with daughters and son in law until flight time this afternoon. Then off to Kansas and waiting at the airport for the arrival of son and girlfriend. Then, eventually, to his brother’s house. Prayer for health and wisdom on resting when he can.
Which leaves me here with seven children for Labor Day weekend. Tonight is homecoming and we have authorized the boys to attend the dance after the game if their insurance is paid up in full. Prayer for wisdom and discernment.
Another son turns eighteen today. I am off to the school for a one week check to see how things are working out for the teachers. And to find out why seventeen year old has been leaving campus without parental approval when they have a policy stating they have open campus for high school if the parents sign appropriate forms. Prayer for wisdom and cooperative minds.
Another son reports he has been tardy three times and one more will result in detention. I reminded him that it also will result in him not going to football for a bit or to his work. Prayer for patience.
Off to do chores with the small folk. Prayer for patience.
BG and her dad had lunch today. Now they have decided that she doesn’t need to see the therapist I have the appointment with on Tuesday. Toldya! I knew he would find a way out of it.
