Class is improving. I am giving very clear instrucions. “I would like you to go quietly to your desks and wait quietly for my instructions.” No assuming with this group. However it is a joy to see how much they truly enjoy being together.
Our easy week at camp has been disrupted by 2 trips to the hospital yesterday. One for suspected whiplash and 1 for a broken leg. Please pray for these campers and our staff and for safety for the rest of the week!
Ann I cannot tell you how often the Lord places you upon my heart…you are covered in prayer at His urging …He careth for you and I pray you find rest in the knowing….we love you sweet sister ❤
So good to see you here again, Ann. I was just thinking of you last night while working in my kitchen. You and your family (nuclear and extended, both) are most certainly in my prayers. I’d give you a real hug if I could — a virtual one will have to do, {{{Ann}}}. Blessings.
Thank You for continuing the healing processes for Cheryl’s leg. Help her to grow stronger day by day and soon feel like a natural on crutches.
I pray for those children who have suffered injury at Kare’s camp. Please help them to feel secure in their care away from home. I pray parents are not overly fretful, anxious, and blaming of counselors or staff for not being more watchful. May the injured heal quickly and if any are homesick, I pray You will ease their dismay.
Lord, I, too, have thought recently of Annms. Please help her in whatever situation is troubling and bringing sadness to her life. She is a strong and faithful believer and looks to You for help in her troubled time. You know her heart and the hearts of those who are causing her stress. Please show her that You have this hurting time covered so she will walk through the storm undefeated. Please help any others in her family who may be suffering as she suffers.
Thank You for blessing Jo with ideas to get a more desired response from her class. They will benefit greatly from giving her deserved respect and getting with their lessons. May they all be growing in stature and in Your favor and in the favor of all around them. May Jo be seen as a good example and inspirational influence in their lives. You know the needs of Jo and each student for every day ahead in the school year. Please provide abundantly.
Thank You for helping BG to get to feeling better so quickly. May their household take on a wonderful sense of peace as greater acceptance and tolerance of expectations settles in for all.
I lift up Michelle as she continues in all that is involved in marketing her writings. She has to wear so many hats. Please help her to find balance. May she not feel lonesome with the empty nest feeling.
Thank You, Lord, for helping me to write longer posts. I can not take it for granted anymore.
One of the men who works for the company was able to get a hold of Ralph, who said he still wants to buy Lee’s route, but can’t right now. He may be able to go through with it in a week, two weeks, or a couple months from now. Maybe. Very discouraging. Choosing to keep trusting in, & leaning on, our Savior.
Ralph said the reason he hadn’t replied to Lee directly is that he just didn’t know what to tell him, he didn’t have a firm answer.
Lee had his Lupron shot today. Haven’t yet heard the results of the bone scan, but hopefully will tomorrow.
As for me, I had a good day with Forrest today (yesterday wasn’t so good). He is a sweetie, & oh, so cute. A wonderful blessing.
Thank you for praying for our camp. The broken leg needed surgery, but thankfully(?) it was not a camper but a worker from an inner city youth centre that had come with her children. The other camper was checked out and is okay.

I am sorry for being absent so long–but really need to be covered in prayer right now. God knows the reasons. Thanks…
