Thank You for being the unseen force in on Kare’s husband’s surgery.
You are steady, all-knowing, perfectly loving and caring, and the ultimate healer.
They are in Your hands. May the prayers of the many warriors be answered favorably for excellence in surgery and super quick recovery with no complications.
The cares of this world are burdensome until we get with You and feel You take the load casted over to You for Your sifting thru, discarding of some, and working toward repair on others. You set proper priorities, and have timing of answers beyond what we could imagine.
Thank You for how You are working out good for the believers here on the blog. We all face various forms of trouble and discouragement over certain situations. For some it is health, others it’s close relationships, others it is financial, others are faced with employment issues, and perhaps some are disallusioned with our government or church authorities. Many are the distresses of Your individual children.
Thank You for hearing our cries out to You for help in each situation. How completed we are with Jesus as our Lord and the Holy Spirit within us. You encourage simple living without things distracting from You. Thank You for wisdom which our lives can never grow too full of. Thank You for love that we can not keep to ourselves, and thank You for joy that sprouts wings and lifts us up when we feel down. You are so good. You are so great! I praisd You this day! In Jesus’ name, Amen
Praising the Lord that his big brother was there to take over. He learned restraining at the youth challenge and is quite capable. The difference was, I did not want to hurt the lad, and his brother, after he saw the boy hit me, had no qualms.
Praises, we have the teachers we need at the Primary School for term 1! Someone is coming from the high school to teach 5th and 6th math and others are being flexible. Please pray for the paperwork needed to be done in time for the Grade 4 teacher.
My mom’s second therapy appointment was today, and went much better than the first one. She is in good spirits. Thanks for praying.
Problems with the extended-family situation have definitely improved today. All of the sibling tension has pretty well dissipated, I am thankful to report.
Unfortunately, the tension was still thick last night, and my husband was very angry with them (though he didn’t direct it at them), and with me for spending the amount of time I did communicating with my siblings, trying to offer solutions to the dilemma we were facing with the logistics of caring for our parents, and to do my part to resolve the strife. My husband and I had a heated discussion, about the lengthy sibling communications, late last night (he thinks it’s a waste of time), and we went to bed angry, well after 1:00 a.m. (I know, you’re not supposed to do that), and we have not made up yet. 😦
We were both stressed (me, from physical pain with my arm, and emotional pain from the (then) as yet unresolved sibling strife, and him from his dad’s decline — we went to visit my FIL in the nursing home yesterday, and he was more agitated than I’ve seen him, yelling angrily at my MIL, which I’ve never seen him do, and that is, of course, hard for my husband to witness). So marital tension on top of all that, which can easily happen under trying circumstances of any sort, did happen.
So now it is us you can pray for. I’m exhausted, and am not looking forward to trying to work things out after he gets home from work (about 10:00 pm). But I don’t want it to go into tomorrow still unresolved, either.
Thank you for all the prayers per my recent requests. God is hearing and working, and I can choose to have hope that God will bring resolution to our marital conflict, as well.
Amen.

Not surprisingly, he only goes after me, the old woman. Never the old guy with knee replacements.
