We could use prayers for wisdom as we finish up 3rd Arrow’s homeschool education. She’ll continue through the summer and graduate four months from now.
Long story, but please pray we’ll use the time effectively, and that she’ll develop more confidence as she embarks on adult life. Thank you.
Thanks Mumsee and Karen and everyone. Your prayers are encouraging to me, and I know to daughter, too.
She volunteers for a ministry for disabled adults in our area that meets most weeks from September through May, and today reported that one of the adult leaders offered a prayer for her and the other two young ladies who are graduating from high school this year. Daughter was very touched by that.
The same leader also asked my daughter if she has plans for after high school, whether she’s considering college, etc. When daughter responded that she isn’t planning on college, the leader said, “Oh, good! You’ll still be here with us in the fall!”
I’m so glad she received that encouragement. She does very well working with the students in the program, and enjoys it a lot. I believe God has gifted her with a wonderful ability to minister enthusiastically in this capacity.
A lot of people seem not to know how to respond when she says she’s not going to college, so it is a blessing that she can be with adults who are so positive, and encourage her as she uses her gifts.
