I love Ephesians. I always pray for you when I hear you are teaching that. I knew a lady from Norway who had memorized Ephesians and thought it would be neat to do. I never made it past a couple of verses.
Tychicus is probably in the middle of his sermon abut now.
A prayer goes up.
Nobody wants anything to do with me this time of day, but maybe God does.
😉
Thank you, guys. Your prayers were a great encouragement – there was a nice flow with the Czech pronunciation, and a really good connection with the people. One never knows how a message that includes “not sparing the rod” will be received, but these particular Czechs (with the exception of perhaps one lady) received it well. Grace to you all…
Heavenly Father, Thank You for helping me with my phone alarm set to pray for 6 Arrow’s piano performance. I ask that it will bless her in the enjoyment of bringing lovely music to an appreciative audience. May her memory serve her well and each touch of the keys be perfectly placed for the desired impact. Please give her peace and confidence before, during, and after. Bless the other performers in the event, also. And please bless all at my church doing a concert today, too.
Thank You for blessings upon Tychicus as he brought a challenging message to his congregation. Help the people to apply what needs to be applied to their lives. Thank You for the excellent sermon and other blessings at my church service this morning.
I lift up Kath, for a removing of the anxiety that plagues her spirit. Help her to wrap herself in the freedom and peace blanket that Jesus provides for those going through worrisome times. Please help her to understand just how well you have her and her family covered. Give her Your rest and Your peace that passes understanding.
Thank You for working things out for Mama Ruth yo be feeling well enough to enjoy her party. She must feel so loved. You have helped Kim do a really good thing. Praising You for all Your blessings of skills, talents, personalities, and loving ways.
Please help Mumsee and Mike figure out how best to help the boy to work through his issues. His going into the teen years compounded by what has brought him to the Nest requires the kind of wisdom for solutions only You can give. Please speak in your special ways into this situation.
I pray again for our son’s interview for fall position to go well and for him to have Your guidance and help in completing the two twenty page papers due soon. Considering how difficult it was to get him to write when young, I thank You for what might be a miracle in some ways.
Please bless the young man who was ordained for ministry today at church. May he and his wife have fruitfulness in church planting.
Second Arrow gets her wisdom teeth out tomorrow. They aren’t impacted, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem, but, health-wise, she’s not as robust as most or all of the rest of the children. (Although she’s had almost no problems with her dental health, so that is something.)
Prayers for this mom, too, if you could, who lives three hours away from daughter and can’t be there to help out. Kind of a helpless feeling.
Please pray for me as I prepare and preach tomorrow from Ephesians 6:1-3. Thank you.

I would appreciate prayers, too, for anxiety.

Prayers, 6 arrows.
I guess I was lucky (or not) — I was born with no wisdom teeth.
No comments, please.

Donna, what ever makes you think we’d make comments about your lack of wisdom? (For the record, the rest of us were born without wisdom teeth, too.)
