Please pray for Wendell and Shana as they resign from my work place and will move on to another area. They are wonderful people with such a heart for camping ministry. Please pray that God will lift them up, provide time to be together as a family and that He will lead them to where He wants them to be.
In case some missed it: I posted last night that R is saying he is now homeless, that his mom kicked him out of her house. Praying that as he is “hitting bottom”, he will be open to hear from God & be saved. (It is also possible that this is another of his exaggerations/lies.)
We had a prayer in church today for a teenage girl in our congregation who attempted suicide this week. Thankfully, she did not die, but we don’t know any other details, including her identity, other than that she is or will be counseling with our youth pastor.
Please pray for her and her family, and for wisdom for the pastor. He is relatively young and inexperienced in the ministry, with a young family, and he himself came from an unpracticing Catholic household, and labels himself as having been an agnostic until he met his now-wife as a young adult. He does really have a heart for youth, though, with an enthusiastic nature toward them and our congregation as a whole.
We’re not sure, but we think Emily may be involved in a budding online (& text-message) romance. Again, we’re not sure, but there is a bit of evidence that seems to point that way.
Our concern is more for the spiritual implications, because we know she has a good head on her shoulders, & wouldn’t go off to meet someone without proper precautions, but we don’t want her entangled in another relationship with an unbeliever.
Even before this suspicion came up, I have been praying that God would protect my girls (& Forrest, when he is older) from falling in love with the wrong person, especially an unbeliever.
Please pray that if she is involved in any kind of “relationship”, God would cause her feelings to dim. And whatever else you feel led to pray. Thank you.
Praying Karen….and for this young girl 6arrows….may our Lord place a hedge of protection about them..and may they seek Him in all circumstances….knowing He is the way the truth and the Life…everlasting….

Amen to all of the above.
