Tomorrow is family day up at the challenge. First time family members get to meet with their sons and daughters up there since turning them over. Should be a good time. Prayer that it is a good encouraging time for all. Thanks.
Please make for sweet reunions for those mentioned by Mumsee. My heart is flooded with compassion as I read more in the book A Starfish at a Time about adoptive parents and the children in similar situations. Life is so very difficult for some people and poor choices by parents can leave the children with special needs. Thank You so much for those like Mumsee and Mike who help these children. And Lord, I thank You for helping those like my friend’s daughter, Mary, to give up smoking and drinking during pregnancy. Please help all moms to be to lead clean lifestyles free from any substance damaging to their baby in the womb.
Thank You again for the blessing of Mumsee and Mike. May they experience Your sweet fragrance during the gathering when family members see progress made and focus love and delight on each other. In Jesus’name, Amen
Sadly, there are folks in a section of Idaho whose fastest trip up here would be through Montana and back into Idaho but a sixty plus mile section of the highway is closed. They will have to detour hundreds of miles, going down to Boise and back up on ninety five, making a six hour drive into an eleven hour drive. They probably will not be able to make the trip so that will be hard for their children as they see others with family and special treats.
A praise! 2nd Arrow has found a good place to live only 10 minutes from where her internship will be! The application she submitted yesterday was approved today; she sent her security deposit, and she is free to begin moving her stuff the week of spring break, as she had hoped.
