Prayer Requests 10-5-13

Who can we pray for today?

Psalm 51:7-15

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

  1. Glad to see nobody else is in need of prayer. Soooo…..in your spare time, you can pray for us! Still trying to fine tune family life, trying to make it so there is no room for allegations. Considering getting cameras set up and all that, at the suggestion of several people who do what we do, or have had allegations made. Sad state of affairs but there you have it. We would like to get back to being a happy trusting family. We seem to be but there is the lingering doubt so it makes it challenging to trust them.

And for health. I have four sick ones home today, husband has six healthy ones with him at church.

  2. Covering The Nest in prayer, Mumsee.

Jo, from the Friday prayer thread, I want to tell you again how much it meant to me to read your prayer. I went to bed after 1st Arrow got home, but I lay awake for a while, listening to the thunder, the pouring rain, the sounds of the wind (we’re tucked into a little valley where there’s usually hardly any wind), and watching the lightning. But mostly I was contemplating the tremendous blessing of knowing there was someone halfway around the world, many hours away, who had prayed for my son’s safety on his commute home from a job less than 15 minutes away.

The Body of Christ is amazing! Being lifted up in prayer by people we’ve never met is truly a blessing from the hand of the Lord. Thank you so much for that reminder, Jo.
