Who can we pray for today?
And it’s Wednesday, so don’t forget the folks in Gambia. 🙂
Psalm 104:10-24
10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.
16 The trees of the Lord are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
Wandering Views 
A woman from church is in the process of dying from cancer. She has had some radical treatment over the past couple of years since the discovery, but she is headed on. Prayer for her family. She and her husband have been raising their grandsons and anticipating the granddaughter they raised, wedding next week. The woman is in final care with no food or water.

Please pray for my husband. He is very stressed over things going wrong on all of our vehicles, and we have many. He buys vehicles when he learns of extremely good deals on the price because of needed repairs that the owners don’t want to deal with. He fixes them up and sells them for a big profit or keeps them as back-up vehicles for our own family. He normally enjoys the challenge of that, but the trouble is that all of our current vehicles, the ones we regularly use, the back-up ones, and the ones we will probably sell, have got or recently developed issues (some pretty major), seemingly all at once, that it’s hard to even decide which two vehicles are the best ones for Hubby and 1st Arrow to drive to work safely.
I have not heard my husband so frustrated as he was when he called me on his way to work today, just exasperated beyond belief with the vehicle mess.

Speaking of husbands, please pray for mine, too. We were excited when he was able to buy this route, but now both of us are discouraged. The hours are very long, even when he has one of the girls helping him. Starting next week, he will have one of the girls helping every day (they’ll be alternating days), but he also has new product added to what he already sells. (Sara Lee is pushing some new snack cakes & such.) Because of the hours he works, he doesn’t get the amount of sleep he should get. I worry about him. 😦
So my request for Lee is for God to sustain him physically & mentally, to give him wisdom as to how to handle the route to make it more manageable (sell off part of it? do something differently?), & to have “a song in his spirit & a pep in his step”.
6 Arrows – Praying God will give Mr. Arrows the wisdom for where he should start & what he should do, & peace in his heart/mind in the meantime.
