Prayer Requests 6-11-13

Who can we pray for today?

Psalm 96

1 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof.

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

  1. Please pray for a young mother of 3, Amanda, who has recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer.

And please pray for a miracle of healing for my friend, Jenn, whom I’ve mentioned in the past. She has severe stomach problems, due to a botched surgery about 5 years ago, followed by about 10 others to try – unsuccessfully – to fix things (some of those even after being told she could have no more surgeries due to the damage in her body).

She has a 3-in-1 surgery coming up – 3 surgeons working on 3 different problems in one surgery. One of those problems is a mass that has been growing.

This poor lady is in pain, often severe, every day. But she generally has such a great attitude, expressing her gratitude for her life, her family & her friends. She is a believer, but is not able to come to church.

  2. Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the miracle of healing. Thank You for the healing service we had in church Sunday evening. You demonstate to us through past healings recorded in the Bible that You work through different methods, some of which seem unusual to us such as putting mud on the eyes or using a poultice of figs, etc. I lift up the ladies Karen O. has mentioned today, Amanda and Jenn, each with their individual symptoms, discomforts and diagnosis. You know what they are going through and just what it would take to put their bodies back together in the way You intended for them to function. I ask for You to hasten their healing. You have the means and You know the way to repair and fix what is wrong. Hear Your children praying for their benefit. Help them please! We ask that they will not suffer pains and that they will feel peace over their situations. Please heal them sooner rather than later than expected. I pray in the name of our Lord, Jesus, Amen
