Prayer Requests 4-13-13

Who can we pray for today”

Or an update or praise if you prefer. 🙂

Psalm 134

1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.

2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

  1. She is playing you, Kim. You are the mom. She wants you to be her minion. Be strong. Do what you know is right and let her do her growing up.

  2. Kim, there was a young lady I knew who had been a very difficult teen. She told me that even as she was fighting with her mom over something, she still knew that she wanted her mom to hold her ground. In fact, when her mom would give in, the girl would actually be inwardly angry at her for doing so.

I don’t know if that story helps at all, but Mumsee’s advice to be strong reminded me of it.

  3. Requesting prayer for hubby and 1st and 3rd arrows, who are on the road traveling to a different part of the state today. Their travel time will be approximately five hours round trip with road conditions less than ideal. Thanks.

  4. I should say that the travel time is about five hours under normal conditions. They will be going slower today, so will actually be on the road longer.

  5. Thanks for asking, Chas. They’re not home yet; I’m anticipating it will be another hour or hour and a half yet because my son was attending an event in the city of their destination that was to last approximately that long, and a total of six hours total driving time before and after is a pretty reasonable time frame to expect, given the wet roads and possible precipitation. I’ll post when they get home, and you’ll see it it the morning. 😉

  6. First Arrow called now and said they’re just now starting for home. It took them over three hours to get there, but they stopped a few times along the way, too. Roads were wet about the first half of the way and it was very windy during parts of the drive, but the road and weather conditions were clear the second half. Thanks for praying.
