Prayer Requests 1-11-13

What would you like us to pray about today?

Psalm 5:1-3

1 Listen to my words, Lord, consider my lament.

2 Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray.

3 In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

  1. FB post from Liam’s father: “Well his sugar levels keep dropping no matter what they do. I know they are trying their best but it seems that it isn’t working. Even his Doctor’s are confused. I watched the head Doctor stand at his bedside and scratch her head for minutes saying “Liam what is going on”. Melissa and I have not lost faith yet we know that we serve an amazing God. We just ask that as many of you that believe pray with us.
    ” Father Help”
Please help us in getting as many people as we can to pray for our situation. Thank you so much for all of you that have prayed Melissa and I feel at peace and supported. We just need MIRACLE”

    Thanks for praying.

  2. Please also pray for my niece Teagan. She is high functioning autistic, in grade 12, facing final exams next week. Her bonus grandma just passed away (Auntie Annie) and her favourite auntie will probably pass away this week as well. Poor girl was sobbing as she went to the bus this morning. She also lost her grandpa and other bonus grandma in summer.

  3. Praying through tears, Kare. Both of those situations sound so very difficult to cope with, yet we know our Lord, through His faithfulness, love, mercy and Almighty power can do more than we ever ask or imagine.

Please also pray for my friend, Kelly, wife and homeschooling mother of nine children and one on the way. Kelly is in her 4th month of pregnancy and has been hit with a stomach virus. Please pray for her and her unborn baby’s protection, and for her husband and children, that the virus would not circulate throughout the whole household.

  4. Update from Liam’s mom: ” Liam had a good today. As of today the Dr. Was feeling optimistic about sending him to Vancouver.”
He needs to go to Vancouver for surgery on his pancreas and he needs to be stable to fly. Please continue to pray for this precious baby.

Teagan’s favourite auntie passed away this morning. Teagan is having a very hard time with it. We had a heart to heart and she said “I guess you’re my favourite auntie now” I told her that Auntie Lorraine could still be her favourite auntie, she’d just be in heaven and I’d be here. Lorraine was an amazing woman and I’d gladly be second favourite behind her 🙂

Please pray for Teagan and her family, they are exhausted by the pain of loss they are feeling.

    Thank you so much.
