I love those passages, Peter. I can’t help but hear “For unto us a Child is born”, from Handel’s Messiah, in my head when I see the words of that passage. Such beautiful words and music.

Terrible day in Webster, NY, a suburb or Rochester. Two fire fighters dead, two more in guarded condition, after being shot while responding to a fire. Shooter still a large.
Prayers for the fire fighters, and that the shooter is captured quickly.
