What should we pray about today?
Psalm 100
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
I attended Kindergarten through 11th grade at First Independent Methodist Church School. The first Bible verse I learned in Kindergarten was John 3:16. Psalm 100 was the second I memorized.

Chloe has an appointment with the therapist again this afternoon. She is also having blood drawn and will see her endocrinologist tomorrow. I bought her a journal yesterday and told her whatever she wrote was private and I would not read it.
I will give you more of an update tonight

I’m very thankful today, and thanking God for a much needed family getaway. It was just what we needed, and it was nice to just have some time together with no schedule to worry about. I’m thanking God for the time away, and especially the time together. And of course for blessing me with such a great wife and mother.

Well, we had the big meeting today with the clinic employees and the village elders. Whew! It was LOUD! I’m not sure anything was really accomplished though. If I was making the decisions, this isn’t the hill I would choose to die on.

The Fine Young Man (Ryan) had surgery today to remove 2 small tumors; one from his back, the other from his head. We are now praying for a good report from the biopsy. He will be 24 at the end of this month.

Ajisuun, as a reporter I’ve covered a bunch of community meetings like that here in the port of l.a.!
Funny to hear that they happen all around the world, over big and not-so-big issues. Thanks for the updates.
Kay, hoping for good reports.
Praise for a surgery on one of our older (but very vital & active1) church members who had a very mild stroke a few weeks ago. While at the hospital, it was discovered there was a mass in her abdomen. Surgery was this past Monday and it all went well — and it was benign. Yay.
I first got to know her at our church’s family camp a few summers ago, she was traipsing up and down those dirt trails at night to the campfires with the best of ’em.
