  1. Our missions organization recently sold our team base here in the Czech Republic. However, as the new owner was making renovations, it surfaced that there wasn’t building inspection paperwork in place from a previous renovation from many years ago. The company that had been working on the latest renovations has now stopped all work, and the new owner is incensed. He is now saying (in a very unpleasant manner) that he wants to cancel the sales contract, have our organization pay for the cost of the current renovations, and even for the possible lost rent income from those who he had hoped to rent to. Please pray for cooler heads to prevail, and for a reasonable resolution to the building inspection paperwork issue. Thank you.

  2. Today is my stepsister, Toni’s, funeral. This will be very hard for my stepmother. Her special olympics swim team members are all wearing their uniforms and coming.

  3. Heavenly Father, Tychicus seems so distant from where we are in the States yet to You he is not even a moment away. You are there with his team helping them in their efforts to bring word of Jesus to needy hearts. You are aware of the state of confusion over the building renovations. You know who has been knowingly or unknowingly not diligent in previous work on the building or if some deception is going on related to the current business dealings. Only You, Lord, have full knowledge. I pray You will shed Your perfect light over it all. Reveal to those who can make a difference and stop the stalling. I pray for those who jump to conclusions and become hot-headed to settle down while You do Your work of revealing. Please, Lord, we are asking this so Your kingdom building work can progress. Please bless the whole team with good health and joyful spirits even though their work has been delayed. Thank You for what Your response will be for we trust You will give the best given Your supernatural knowledge that far exceeds our knowledge. In Jesus’ name, Amen

  4. Heavenly Father, You have blessed Kim’s family with knowledge of love through the life of Toni. You have given them witness of how a mother sacrifices for their young who grow older with afflictions that keep them from the normal progression of development. Thank You, Abba, for the blessing that many people outside of Kim’s family have received by knowing of this special love. I pray for Kim’s MIL that she will be comforted in some special way that makes her aware that You know how sad she is when she misses Toni and that You do care. I pray thank You that You have given Kim a good marriage partner to be with her during this time of grief. There is a lot of love going on in that family these days. What a blessing! Keep them all well despite the extra time requirements to meet all their commitments. May they go through these days refreshed and relaxed by Your peace within their hearts. In Jesus’ name, Amen

  5. A praise for God! This afternoon I was able to do one of the two telephone interviews I need for my article. Also, I thank Him that I was given a long time to get this article done. It is nice to learn a new skill that I can use for doing future articles.

Please pray for my son to make some decisions about Grad school applications. He is so busy with this last semester’s work that he has not had much time to deal with researching schools.

  6. This is a very “last minute” request. (I can’t believe I didn’t think of it before now.)

There is a Planning & Zoning Commission meeting starting RIGHT NOW here in town, & they will be considering whether or not to grant our church a Special Use permit for the property we’ve been trying to purchase. This is the 3rd meeting, after 2 previous continuances, & I believe the final decision will be made tonight.

Please pray for God’s favor for Hope Springs Church with the P & Z board. Most of all, that God’s will be done in this.

  7. Yay! Praise God! We got the Special Use Permit!

What I’d neglected to mention was that the property we are looking at is in an industrial zone, but the building could be easily renovated for church use.
