  1. We have hired a teacher to come in and help part of the time. It went well today. Pray for hubby as he feels out of his element, which he is.

    Pray for the children who have not yet learned the value of learning and are still fighting the idea. Pray for those who are giving it their best shot.

  2. Heavenly Father,

    Thank You for gifting people like Mumsee and hubby with the skills to help the children in their care. Lord, You know the needs of each child and why You have led them to live in this loving home. These are very special and dear children, Lord, each with their personal learning styles just as teachers have their own personal way of teaching and interaction. Thank You for providing a new willing participant in the education of these children. I pray any new method of instruction will be well received by the children who need it. I pray for a smooth adjustment period for all the adults who have to share space and varying opinions. May each recognize and respect the abilites of everyone involved so it will go well for the children. I pray that during this season of illness from colds and viruses that all can continue to be well or if ill that it will not be long-lasting. I pray You will show them how to build up their immunity, get needed rest and have a joyful attitude about the work before them. Please give them all an extra shot of patience to carry them through demanding days. Thank You, Lord, for hearing this prayer for Your blessed children which includes guardians for in the grand scheme of things we are all Your children. In Jesus’ name, Amen

  4. Heavenly Father,

    Please give 6 Arrows a revival of spirit and energy today as she has been pressed hard by the difficulties that parents face from children expressing themselves in undesirable ways. Please help their household to know the peace that can come suddenly like a breeze through a window changing the atmosphere for good. I pray her children will be receptive to her teaching and that they will not have to be asked thrice to do things. Lord, You know the battles I went through trying to get my son to write when he was young. It was such a struggle. But I thank You Lord for the difficulty and the encouragement to stick with it for now he works in the college writing center. Please let 6 Arrows and other parents like Mumsee have hope for a good future when the homeschooling has its rough spots. Please do not let them feel so low that they think their efforts are in vain. Thank You for the peace You give, not as the world gives but only as Jesus brings. In His name, Amen

  5. Heavenly Father,

    You know the tremendous difficulties that are caused by brain tumors and other things that cause serious problems in the proper functioning of the brain. I lift up Adios’s SIL for healing without delay from his surgery to correct his problem. I also lift up Donna’s deacon who continues to function even with the on-going problem. I pray for all those who are helping to take care of them in their times of need. Strengthen all the family members and friends with additional stamina for times when their routines are disrupted and they don’t get needed rest. Thank You for hearing all the prayers mentioned here and elsewhere for these who need action on Your part to get them functioning at their best again if possible. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen

  7. Please pray for Ron DeBenedictis, the father of Miles, the Senior Pastor of my church. He had either a heart attack or stroke [insufficient info as yet] while at work in San Bernardino today. He is in an ER there, which is about 50 miles from his family. Pray also for his wife, Jeanne, for calmness and strength in this emergency.

  10. Heavenly Father,

    We come to You as believers in Your power to make a difference in situations of all kinds. You are present in the hospital ER when new patients are brought in no matter where the hospital is located. We know You are there with Ron DeBenedictis either in ER or the room to which he has been transferred. Please give his wife comfort through feeling Your presence with her as she may have to make decisions without consultation with other family members. Please bring Ron back to good health if it is Your will. I pray he is not suffering and all his vitals are looking good. Bless Kay’s Senior Pastor, Miles, as he processes this emergency health problem of his dad. We trust in Your good care to see this family through. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen

    I pray for Kim’s family that things will all go gently with the laying to rest of their beloved family member tomorrow. Especially keep the mother in Your arms of comfort as she grieves for the loss of her child. In Jesus’ name, Amen
