Psalm 100

1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Peter’s Pack of Pickled Pigskin Picks 2018 Week 12

It’s Week 12. And since AJ picked a small college rivalry game, I have decided that this is Small College Week. Two reason: Why not? And we need a break from the usual, don’t we? Well, there are a few “big” schools in the list for those who need that fix.

Next week has a lot of rivalries for the big schools, so we’ll do those then. But this week, enjoy the challenge, even though I did a little research to see which teams have the better records.

Get the guesses in by NOON EST Saturday. (This time I double checked to make sure no games are on Friday.)

 1. Colgate (9-0) @ Army (8-1)

 2. Ivy League: Yale @ Harvard (Both 5-4, 3-3 conf)

 3. Pioneer League: San Diego (8-2, 7-0 conf) @ Marist (5-5, 5-2 conf) [My oldest brother attended USD for two years.]

 4. Southwestern Athletic: Alabama State  @ Prairie View (Both 3-6, 2-3 conf)

 5. Big Sky: Weber State (8-2, 6-1 conf) @ Idaho State (6-4, 5-2 conf)

 6. Missouri Valley: Indiana State (6-4, 4-3 conf) @ Western Illinois (5-5, 4-3 conf) [I live 90 miles from WIU.]

 7. Missouri Valley: Missouri State (4-6, 2-5 conf) @ Northern Iowa (5-5, 4-3 conf) [I got my MA at UNI.]

 8. North Dakota (6-4) @ Northern Arizona (3-6) [I almost went to NAU for grad school.]

 9. Pillow Fight: Conference USA: UTEP (1-9, 1-5 conf) @ Western Kentucky (1-9, 0-6 conf)

10. Tie Breaker: Pick winner and final score:  Patriot League: Lehigh (2-8, 1-4 conf) @ Lafayette (3-7, 2-3 conf)

Note – This is called “The Rivalry”.

Psalm 99

1 The Lord reigns,
    let the nations tremble;
   he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
    let the earth shake.
2 Great is the Lord in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the nations.
3 Let them praise your great and awesome name—
    he is holy.

4 The King is mighty, he loves justice—
    you have established equity;
   in Jacob you have done
    what is just and right.
5 Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his footstool;
    he is holy.

6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
    Samuel was among those who called on his name;
   they called on the Lord
    and he answered them.
7 He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
    they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.

8 Lord our God,
    you answered them;
   you were to Israel a forgiving God,
    though you punished their misdeeds.
9 Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his holy mountain,
    for the Lord our God is holy.
