Happy blogiversary!!! That is a good long time of blogging! Thankful for those who have stuck around! Thanks Aj!!
Thanks Kizzie and Aj for the happy anniversary to me and Paul. We went to Bass Pro to get a fishing license for him then on to Walmart to purchase things for a neighbor get together tomorrow night. Grabbed take out Chinese food and now he is taking a nap! A good way to spend a 51st anniversary😁
Happy to hear the kitties are enjoying themselves and settling in.
Cat toys, as far as the eye can see. They’ve calmed down a little, although there was some scratching of Elizabeth by Zoey, who took offense to being picked up.
Today they laid on my chaise lounge together. Zoey let me give her a good chin and head rubbing. Cleo is a sweetie who comes right away, and loves to rub you and purr. So sweet.
Fluffy was down earlier, ate, glared at the kittens, but didn’t hiss this time. They both lie down together at a distance and watch her, fascinated.
But sooner or later, Fluffy will make an example of one or both, because she’s the boss.
Uh oh Aj…the alpha cat will take care of business once the breaking in period is over…watch out kitties!! Sounds as though there is ever a dull moment at your home!!
Thank you Cheryl and Kevin. Low key 51st anniversary with much reflection. We are thankful the Lord kept us together as He was leaned upon during those difficult and even not so difficult seasons of life. I was recalling Dr Dobson telling parents of teens to “just get them through it” during those rough waters of teen hood! It can be said for all of us during turbulent times in our lives…Lord please get us through it and trusting He will indeed do just that! Even after all of these years we face difficult days. We are thankful we are united in Him and in seeking Him and His direction for there is no other way….
Cheryl we continue to lift you and your husband before Him. May He give to you both strength and comfort as you navigate the path laid before you…
And has it really been 14 years of this blog? So many have left us, either by passing on to Glory or finding fellowship elsewhere. I remember when Mumsee left last year, but what happened to DJ? Haven’t seen her in these parts for quite a while.
I am late to the party, cats and all. I was busy yesterday, as usual, dealing with Bro’s stuff. Today I was recuperating. It takes so much out of me.
I gave Art a trim and thinning of the hair in the back. He is brave to let a near blind person do it. But with it being in the back, he can’t see it even as well as I do, lol
wow, Aj, you’ve kept us together for 14 years!! Simply amazing
I still remember how terrified I was to post from PNG the first time
first soccer game today
going to remind my daughter that I would like the grandkids every other Friday
we will see

The cats are crazy. 🤪 🐈⬛
Cleopatra, the spotted, striped one, has two speeds, stop, and 90mph. Like a permanent case of the zoomies.
Zoey is much more laid back, slightly skittish, but sweet and adorable when she wants to be, like at feeding time.
I keep hearing Cheryl laughing from the front room while they entertain her. She’s a happy cat momma.

DJ has left, too.
She and I are good friends, and Facebook message each other back and forth every day. I try to keep her up-to-date with things that are going on here.
