I have not seen Pumpkin all week so I always wonder when she disappears for a long while . . . with the heat, maybe a kind soul is keeping her indoors.

Funny sight for today. It appears a guy is using a weed hacker to mow the zoysia grass across the street. Not very efficient but gets in a lot of extra steps for someone who desires to walk miles.
Thankful Gemma could come home and we pray still. We were so thankful for the “one more” days with our Babe. Giving them their best life is a blessing they return to us❣️❣️.

Heading to the vet with Gemma at 1130. Cheryl stayed home to come along, just in case it’s the last visit.
This sucks. This is the only part of pet ownership I dred.

Just got home, with Gemma!
The vet gave her a shot that may help, and it’s a last ditch effort here, as she’s lost a pound, which is about 15% of her body weight.
Hopefully it works, if not, we will return to put her to sleep.

I’m glad you have more time and a potential fix, AJ. It’s a hard loss, and it’s good to cover all your bases and know you have done all you can.
