Good morning. It is supposed to feel like 105° today. I have already been outside to enjoy the coolness of the morning and suffered a mosquito bite. I think they will hide from the heat later, too.
I remember hotter summers . . . but only because Arizona and Tennessee are both hotter than Indiana! We’re well into the 90s today, or at least we were earlier. Right now we’re getting thunder and a little bit of rain, and it has cooled it off into the low 80s.
it has turned into a rather gloomy day here with lots of cloud cover and it looks as if we are about to get a third rain shower. No 105° day.
Doing Bible study group ruined me for getting back on track with my other projects. I have been cleaning up some leftover things we brought here from rehabs. I found the bag we used for my brother’s dialysis blankets and hat that he always needed because dialysis left him very chilled. It’s hard to revisit all the suffering I witnessed. Thankful for the final peace given by God.
I went to the dentist today for a cleaning. Not a very comfortable job. As I left I mentioned the discount that the dentist has honored me by giving and casually said that I had not gotten it last time, which was an over 600 dollar bill. They said let’s look and noticed it. So today cost nothing and I have a 58 dollar credit. Wow, I was not expecting that. God is good.
Hot today but Thursday is supposed to be a high of 82. Doesn’t that sound wonderful! Also it is a perfect day to go to the county fair.
I got another sweet thanks today from the lifeguards. I bought them a spray misting bottle for the hot days. Also a new clock so I can time what I do. I get pretty sore if I overdue it.

We’re in a heat wave too. But rain is in the forecast for tomorrow with cooler weather to follow.
