  1. Good morning. The noise I heard this morning was from the cows that have been moved into the field next door recently. A couple were so loud I actually looked to see if they were in our yard. Fortunately, they were not. It has been a quiet summer for us. Even the wolves and coyotes have not been making their presence known by howling as much. We know they are around, so I am not sure why we haven’t heard this as much.

  2. 102 degrees yesterday. I skipped church but watched a livestream where they sang hymns. Trust and Obey, victory in Jesus

it is close. I may have to change churches

  3. It looks like we will remain in the eighties today but with high humidity, it won’t feel comfortable.

102° sounds really hot, but so much depends on the humidity.

I received a sympathy card from someone at my former church today. I have gotten quite a few from friends there. I have not gotten one card from anyone at my present church. I guess it appears I am a church dropout since I only am able to attend by phone and online. A Sunday school teacher does keep sending his lesson notes to us which is very kind. That class does not offer a call in option so I am in a senior adult call in class in which I know no one. I continue to feel really mixed up about church. My brother’s pastor has been so k8nd to us.

  4. Thank you, Kizzie. I think it is, of course, so much more important to not feel confused about God than about church. Thankful that despite the idiosyncrasies of churches that God is ever straightforward and means what he says. I love much about my current church but my personal situation has made it extremely hard to be connected with anyone outside of being in-person in class with them.
