  1. Good afternoon. We went to market early. These days it’s good to get out early because we are still have many rain showers and puddles.

I talked with Bro’s nice pastor earlier. A few donations are coming into the church so I need to send thank you cards.

We have closed out a family reunion account and sent funds to ones who hopefully will manage it in place of my brother.

Thanks, Peter, for the funnies. I will indulge in those later.

Burgers with Buck on Fox 5 ATL recently had a burger that came with chopped bacon bits on the side with a cheese sauce in a bowl. Burger l9vers can dip the burger into the cheese sauce and then the bacon bits for something different. I would need a bib!

  2. Warm and toasty here!
We decided to try out a new diner in Elizabeth. Lovely drive on dirt backroads and the diner was a hit!
We stopped in at the local thrift shop in Kiowa that is in partnership with the sheriff dept. I found a brand new J Jill top for a dollar. And they gave me a new leather travel purse a business donated for free. I love local and we support them with donations and funding. Nothing like small town America ❣️And they have baskets full of school supplies for the local kids to pick up for free.

  3. We took in a local fair today. I was disappointed with the number of quilts displayed. It is always fun to walk through the 4 H building to see all the creativity of both adults and children. A young man had worked on a 1948 Frazer sedan. He had an album showing photos of each stage. I was very impressed. I had never heard of a Frazer before. Live and learn.
