  1. Warm here too.

Got my hair and beard cut this morning. Then did an ice cream run to our favorite store for ice cream with my wife, Cheryl, who I swear is even more lovely than the day we first met. I adore the woman. 🥰

  2. She is beautiful, AJ!

We have already had a big puddle maker today and we’ll get more later. It will continue with afternoon and evening storms and showers for several days.

I tested positive for a genetic condition, macular dystrophy. Glad it showed up late rather than early.

Art has been through the ringer at the hospital with Bro having a very rough day. Thought at one point he might get back into ICU. Pray for our family as you find a few moments here or there. All prayer is helpful.

  3. Aj how sweet… the Lord is good!❣️❣️

No rain in our forecast? Oh contraire!!! It is raining complete with thunder rumbles as I type! He is over ALL….even giving rain when it appears not to be!

Praying for you Janice…such a rough patch this has been for you and brother. And what is the prognosis concerning the genetic testing … covering that in prayer as well! ❣️God is good…all the time…

  4. Peter–

I was in Indianapolis last weekend and oiriginally had hoped to drive from St. Louis to Indy via you and another friend.

Instead, our trip to Italy got extended and I flew directly to Indianpolis, skipping you, and everyone in between.

Curious story, while in Sicily, I got into an extended conversation with an expat who lived in central Illionis before a terrible divorce.

I commented I only knew one person who lived in that town.

She knew her, too, then had been in Bible study together.

I was supposed to spend the night with her the day after I saw you on that drive to Indy.

    What a very small world.

I’ve taken 18 plane flights since Easter–with two more next week.

    I’m tired of traveling . . . and I hate apps.

  5. Awe, that is sweet to hear, AJ.

Janice, keeping you in prayer during this difficult time.

I was surprised when I heard there are 5 small fires in a National Forest close by. They started by lightening, apparently and are under control, but not out. We have gotten rain here, too. It will be way too hot and humid for me for the next several days. Maybe weather is God’s way of showing how little control we have over things.
