Anyway…. Good morning! It’s hot but not windy. Fires continue to spread and we need rain in our state….

  3. We keep having significant thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening these days which is more what we experienced years ago in our area. The parking deck had a huge puddle accumulated at the pay station when we left around eight last night.

Learning about traveling nurses today. They have to have two years of experience. We see a lot of them in these various facilities.

  5. 83 degrees and oh so smoky in these parts. There is an eery orangish haze settled in the forest from the smoke blowing in from around the state. Itches and burns the eyes and causes one to sound like a smoker when they talk!

Word is cooperating on my iPad but not my phone…go figure!

Janice my neighbor’s daughter is a traveling nurse and loves it. She is married to a retired Army officer and they have a little girl who will be in 1st grade next year. My neighbor is the perfect Mimi to watch their little girl when Mom is out of town and Dad is overwhelmed!

Praying you find the perfect place for brother…asking the Lord to direct and open doors for his good care.

  7. So the landscaper came by. And… it was the owner of the business. A young man who is the same age as my children and knows them all. Also his mom is a fellow deaconess with me. He looked at everything and will send me a bid. Turns out my retaining wall is fine just needs plants. And I even wanted a railing to help me water my new trees. Well, he kept looking and discovered a fully functional watering system that was put in years ago. No more watering by hand He turned it on and water was coming out of places all over and even going directly onto what I had planted. Not sure what the bid will cost but I will say yes. He is working with what is already here that I had seen but knew nothing about. And the watering system is in three parts for front, back and side. Simply amazing

    Blessed, God is good.

  8. I have a cousin who is a traveling nurse, too. The ones who work here seem to be from surrounding states and from smaller towns and they are very friendly and caring. I very much enjoy conversing with them.
