  1. Morning! That is such an amazing capturing of one of our Lord’s beautiful creations! From the foliage to the blossom it is just perfection! Thanks for sharing part of the beauty in your world Kathaleena!

Another hot windy day here with fires out of control in so many parts of this state. The smoke was thick last night and everyone was panicking that new fires were burning local. Fire bans are in place locally and statewide but not as strict as many would like. Many entitled residents declare they will set off their illegal fireworks this weekend putting us all at risk…why oh why?!

We always stand at the ready during these tense times…I believe our Lord instructs us in scripture to always be at the ready….yes? Life lessons….

  2. Sounds horrible–both the fire situation in CO and the heat wave in PA. Here it will feel a bit cooler, although we should have temps in the eighties. No power for us yet. I was quite unhappy to learn they fixed the power in a road no more than a quarter of a mile from us and left us without. Trying to be patient, but it would have seemed efficient to just get this done and get the wires off the road where everyone is driving across them. I did call and leave that message.

  3. It is hot in Atlanta, too. I was in ICU most of thr day but late in the day Bro got moved to a regular room. He had a procedure to close up a stomach ulcer. They could adjust his temp in the new room, but ICU is known as Icy ICU for good reason.

The weather forecasters is saying later this week somewhere in Georgia will feel like heat inex of 110°. The 4th of July Peachtree Road Race will be unbearable.

  4. Fires continue to spread. Smoke was thick here tonight with reports of falling ash in our area…dear Lord we need rain and your help!😢

We also have people setting fires intentionally…along with the homeless downtown starting one with their campfire tonight.
