Janice – No, Teen stopped doing scouting a few years ago. I can’t remember why. He was very involved with football for several years, but has not continued with that now that he is in high school. That’s just as well, because he had already had a couple of concussions.
Over the past couple of years, he has acquired a few good friends with whom he hangs out a lot. One thing they enjoy is fishing, and they ride their bikes all over town. Nightingale says she is pleased with the friends he has, as they seem like “good kids.”
Teen also mows my lawn for me every couple of weeks. (And I pay him some for it.)
Although Nightingale is still working, she is off of her nursing school classes for the summer, and all the intense studying that goes along with that, so that frees up some time for her. Not sure what plans she may have for the summer, but she always does have plans to go places or whatnot.

Kizzie, what is your family up to this summer? Do they still participate in scouting? Summer camp is a big deal for earning badges in scouting.
