  1. I am enjoying a cool morning. It will be too hot for me today and for the next week, I believe.

AJ’s comment about his day yesterday reminded me of Chas saying nothing new (or just a normal day) is a blessing at his age. So true.

  2. Sunny day after so much rain. I flagged down a golf cart courtesy driver in the parking lot to save us the agony of a long walk in. Thankful for volunteers. She said they each do one day a week for four hours.

New thing in infection control. Hand sanitizer boxes have blue tooth devive that coordinates with employee badges to make sure they clean hands. Big Brother is watching!

  3. so nice to see some good news from Kathleena on the prayer thread sorry for the spelling

had a long call with a new friend last night. Then called her back. I looked out the bathroom window and saw two very fat raccoons going under my deck. I think they were joining the deer that seem to live there

so the county wildlife guy is going to come on Monday to set traps for the ground squirrels that are undermining my rock retaining wall

  4. You have quite the wildlife, Jo!

I just finished filling out the 48-page census form I received from our wonderful government. It is nuts to fill out! Fortunately, I don’t have any children etc. living here, too, to worry about. They want all your income from every source for the last 12 months. You can’t rely your last tax form, so I had to go through each month on my bank site and then add every little bit of interest etc. I cannot imagine a whole lot of people filling this out. Doesn’t that skew things? I received two letters telling me to fill it out online. I waited for the paper form. I have received the long form before. Give someone else a turn. Did anyone else get one of these or know anyone who did?

  5. Wellll…I wrote out a whole long post and poof it went!!! As I was sayin’

It was cloudy and rainy this morning and that cancelled the Thunderbirds flyover at the Academy graduation. But JD Vance gave a wonderfully encouraging speech and shook the hand of each new officer! I like him.

Husband hiked up to Pikes Peak and is now headed back down. I have been cleaning and picking up raining pine cones!

Jo I hope the wildlife folk can trap those raccoons while they hunt for squirrels. Raccoons are so destructive and pesky!

Kathaleena is this a census type of requirement you are filling out? They already know our income by our tax forms. Seems intrusive to me!

Janice I pray you found someone to answer questions. My Fad had dialysis three days a week with each resulting three hours. He was exhausted afterwards. Continuing prayers over you.

Aj take it easy on the yard work in warmer tempts…you are sixty after all😁

Ha!!!! It did it again! I hit post and poof it was gone! But I copied my text before hitting post so there ya go!!😁

  6. Local news reported wrongly… no surprise there. The Thunderbirds did flyover over the stadium during the cap toss but cancelled the half hour show….happy for the new officers!!

  7. Yes, that dialysis was hard on my daughter and she is relatively young.

Yes, NJ, it is a census and yes, way too intrusive, IMO.

Yes, Racoons can be pesty for sure.
