  1. The rainy season is upon us.

But at least it’s much cooler.

We’re getting ready for Cheryl’s upcoming eye surgeries.

Can’t believe it’s almost June already.

  2. Way too early for June and the halfway mark. Whoa! Slow down!

Feeling a lot of stress now. Prayers appreciated. Looking at all the bad reviews of rehab centers.

    No.Good.Cnoices.

    Prayers for Cheryl’s surgery.

  3. Oh, it’s cool all right. 😉 No one’s annual plants would have survived here last night. I am amazed at those plants that are hardy enough to survive in the snow. Isn’t our Creator amazing?

Jo, that is hard when your friend remembers so little. Visits can mean so much, however, whether we realize it or not. We are off to a locked down memory care facility today for a performance. This is the hardest place to play for a variety of reasons. It is a blessing, however, for the performers and residents. I suppose the staff gets a little rest from some of their residents, also. They are hard workers.

Janice, that is scary to hear of such a horrible thing happening in what should be a safe place.

  4. Sunny blue sky morning! Rain/snow yesterday and 60 degrees today! My plants love being back outdoors!

Rehabs usually have bad reviews. My Dad was put in one and Mom got him out of there within 6 hours! The staff was awful and lazy., The reason I obtained my nursing assistant license was due to my neighbor’s terrible treatment in two different rehabs. I only worked in hospice but I saw first hand some of the worst CNA’s. It is a sad state of affairs that our most vulnerable are subject to mistreatment or lack thereof. Saying that I have also worked with some of the very best giving their best!
