  1. We shouldn’t be shocked anymore. It’s become commonplace among Dems.

    As has this….

“Biden admin ‘zealously’ probed ‘traditional’ Christians – even keeping tabs on priests: DOJ report”

“The Biden administration “zealously” investigated, penalized, and engaged in “aggressive prosecutions” of Christians “with traditional biblical views” — ignoring their conscientious objections and even secretly keeping tabs on Catholic priests, a Department of Justice task force found.

The DOJ-led Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias released 14 findings Thursday, confirming the 46th president’s officials “forc[ed] Christians with traditional biblical views to choose whether to live in accordance with their faith or risk violating federal law.”

In a 200-page report, the task force concluded: “The Biden Administration generally tolerated religious beliefs that were privately held but zealously pursued actions to limit Christians’ ability to act in accordance with their faith.”

  2. Christians who sat home, or worse yet, voted for Biden, should be ashamed.

And spare me the “But Trump…”nonsense.

“A new report details just how bad the Anti-Christian HATE was at the Biden DOJ.

-They privately mocked Christians as “cultists”

-Sought the harshest sentences possible-Targeted Pro-Lifers

-Used the SPLC to identify groups and individuals.”

  3. Last evening, NJ commented:

~ “I am hoping there is not a “moral majority” movement in the country again. I am disheartened to see certain people in place surrounding our President as his “spiritual” advisors. My prayer is for the Spirit of our Living God to move on the hearts of people to awaken them to truth…for the Spirit does the convicting…not man….” ~

Amen! That is something that I have been thinking as I have read various things by some brothers and sisters in Christ. (A couple that I know in real life, and some I only see online.) This particular scripture verse has been used to back up the claim that Christians should run the government and attempt to “Christianize” the country:

~ “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” ~ (Matthew 16:18, NKJV)

But we all know that the early church was persecuted, and even so, it grew by leaps and bounds even as it was. Peter himself, to whom those words were spoken, was martyred. Here is a quote from a recent article in World was about a young Chinese woman whose father is a pastor imprisoned in China:

~ “I believe persecution often makes the faith grow faster and firmer, because people realize that there is a cost to it, and they are willing to pay that cost—willingly and peacefully. That baffles people and attracts those looking for answers in their lives.” ~

(Do I want to face persecution? Um, not really! But God’s will be done anyway.)

Sometimes when I read things by or about those who want to “Christianize” our nation in various ways, it reminds me of the people waiting for the Jewish Messiah, believing that He would kick out the Romans and return Israel to its former glory. But we all know that that is not why Jesus came down to us.

Sorry if this is kind of rambling. 🙂
