  1. So you seize the guns if the one who was threatened?

How does that make any sense, unless killing him is the goal?

“The guy caught on camera saying “I would kill him [O’Keefe]” while shooting rifle bullets through his photo… just got a court order to disarm the guy he threatened.

Police showed up today and confiscated James O’Keefe’s firearms.

This is peak clown world. The threatener gets the gun grab. The target gets disarmed.

    Insanity.”

  2. He knows his career is over, so he’s flailing for any handhold to save him.

Yet NTers insist he’s such a principled man, and conservative.

    Reality: He’s neither.

“It’s hard to believe this is real, but it is.

John Cornyn released an ad in Spanish promising his support for amnesty.

Apparently he forgot that we represent American citizens, not illegal aliens.

    This is absolutely disqualifying.

I want my country back, and I’m sick of swampy politicians in Washington who are dying to give it away.

One of many reasons for Texans to vote for @KenPaxtonTX in the runoffs next month.”

  3. TDS rots the brain.

“California gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter says she would “fight” the Trump admin after she was asked if truck drivers should be able to read English.

Question: Do you believe that English language proficiency should be strictly enforced for truck drivers?

Porter: I would absolutely fight the Trump administration…

What a wild predicament the left is in. They have to oppose Trump, so they are advocating for truck drivers who can’t read road signs.”

  4. Remember when they all laughed at Trump for telling them to move away from Russian oil?

    Yeah, good times…

“Germany intentionally blew up their nuclear power plants, then sanctioned cheap Russian energy.

Now their electricity prices are 2x to 3x more expensive than the USA.

Factories are closing and moving to other countries. Lousy policy has consequences.”

“German industrial production is now 24% below its (former) long-term trend. The ‘Great Reset’ is destroying the country’s economic strength.”

  5. Trump broke him. Grifting is all he has left.

“It seems to me that Bill Kristol has forgotten why he opposes Trump, and simply internalized that he does, such that anything that is done in the name of that opposition is now deemed okay. This is no way to live.”

“I believe there is a name for this affliction.

But in Kristol’s case, it’s all about post-Trump relevancy. The Bulwark was literally created to oppose Trump — that’s it. Once Trump leaves office the entire reason for its existence vanishes. So they either have to try the same playbook to diminishing returns with Vance or Rubio, or just go full Leftist. The latter is the better way to go since a massive chunk of its audience is no different than MS NOW’s. Once they’d actually have to act like Republicans and focus their criticisms on Democrats and their insanity, those readers/viewers revolt. So the path is clear.

Kristol will advocate for the very things he claimed Trump represented, and do so with a smile.”

  6. Lack of rain is an infrastructure problem??

The Porter quote lacks context. Its during the primary debate where she is attempting to use a question to attack the record of one of the Republicans on the stage. It’s rather awkward but not as bad as the tweet represents. Trump is unpopular so she associated the other candidate with Trump and then attacked the candidate’s record. However, she more or less ignored the question to do this — not entirely unusually, the last decade or so most politicians ignore the actual question and pursue their planned agenda during debates. There’s no TDS — most people don’t take Trump seriously; he’s been reduced to a joke (a joke with nukes mind you) on the international stage. Iranian propaganda has been really good that way. LEGO will never look the same again.

Over the years, I’ve changed my view on nuclear power — for electrical production it’s probably better than oil/gas but not as good as hydro dams. The Green party in Germany has always opposed nuclear power (other green parties will support nuclear power) and the decommissioning of nuclear power plants was party of the coalition deal with first the Social Democrats and then the Christian Democrats. The Left (former Communists) always opposed this plan — viewing the Green Party as middle class liberals who have no sympathy for the working class. Nuclear power is not a left-right issue, it should be a pragmatic issue — how to produce cheap energy.

Green parties vary by country so it gets confusing. I view the Cdn Green as “Liberals who recycle” whereas in the UK and US they are more left wing. In Nordic countries, they are commonly on the left but in Germany they are a middle class liberal party.
