I also offer my sympathy, Aj, for the loss of your beloved companion. Sometimes we have emotions that are more complex than we think. I remember having very strong emotions at a graduation. That came out of the blue and was difficult to understand. Humans are complex.
We had the way above average heat yesterday. Today it will be cooler and this weekend frigid again.

Thank you all.
It was a strange night. I kept reaching for the furry lump that laid next to me every night for years.
Then in the morning when it was time to get up, she wasn’t rubbing me up and telling me it was time to eat.
Even now, she’s not on her bed next to my chair. Her absence is felt big time.
It all makes me very sad.
