This is where we are…praising those who will fight for what they believe in??? Going as far as murdering those who oppose terrorism??! And then mocking those who stand for what is right??!! Main stream media delusions and downright evil.
On a recent MSNOW segment host Stephanie Ruhle and guest Rick Stengel praised what they called Iran’s “deep belief” and mocked President Donald Trump for not understanding it. The exchange was short but loaded. They suggested Iranians would die for their cause and then implied the president lacks ideology and patriotism. Viewers saw it as tone deaf and politically charged, and the clip quickly circulated online.
“Jared Isaacman dropped out of high school at 16 and started a company in his parents’ basement with $10,000 his grandfather gave him. Tonight he’s on the deck of a Navy ship, waiting to welcome four astronauts home from the moon.
That basement company is now Shift4 Payments. It processes over $200 billion a year in credit card transactions, about a third of all restaurants, hotels, and casinos in the U.S. Went public in 2020. He ran it as CEO from age 16 until he stepped down to take over NASA last year.
He also co-founded Draken International, which ran a fleet of over 100 retired fighter jets whose entire job was playing the enemy in combat training for U.S. Air Force and NATO pilots. He sold it to Blackstone for over $100 million.
He has over 8,000 hours in the cockpit and can fly more than a dozen types of military jets. He personally owns a MiG-29, a Russian fighter that tops 1,500 mph, which he bought from the estate of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. It’s the only one in private American hands. In 2009, he flew around the entire planet in a small Cessna jet in 61 hours and 51 minutes, a world record, to raise money for Make-A-Wish.
In 2021, he paid for and commanded Inspiration4, the first all-civilian spaceflight. Four people with no astronaut training, three days orbiting Earth, $250 million raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Then in 2024, he went back up on Polaris Dawn and floated outside the spacecraft, held to it by a 12-foot cable, in the first spacewalk ever done by someone outside a government space agency. That same flight reached 870 miles above Earth, farther than any human had been since the last Apollo crew in 1972.
He took over as NASA’s 15th administrator in December 2025. In his first three months, he redirected $20 billion away from a planned space station around the moon and toward building a permanent base on the moon’s surface.
Right now he’s aboard the USS John P. Murtha, about 50 miles off San Diego. The capsule carrying the Artemis II crew is going to hit the atmosphere tonight at around 25,000 mph. If the heat shield holds (it took damage on its last unmanned test), if the parachutes open, four astronauts splash down at 8:07 PM ET after a 694,000-mile trip around the moon. And the person waiting for them has been to space twice, walked outside a spacecraft, owns the only Russian fighter jet in private American hands, and started his first company as a teenager in his parents’ basement. His call sign is “Rook.””
“The only difference between Eric Swalwell and Jeffrey Epstein is that Epstein paid his victims to shut up from his own pocket, while Eric Swalwell paid his victims to shut up with money from your pocket.”
Not really on comment on Salwell but “jungle” or ranked primaries are dumb. I like the US primary system — I find it more democratic than the internal party nomination system in Canada, but keep the party nominees separate….
Its amusing — my newsfeed just had an article on Artemis as a Biden initiative. And tongue in cheek comments about how it was a successful DEI mission with a black guy, a woman and a Canadian. Jokes aside the crew appears not to be picked by the Turmp admin.
Didn’t see the original MS NBC clip that’s the reference here but its not wrong to see the mistake the admin made in judging Iran. The Trump admin used the Venezuela model as a predictor for success in Iran. However, the conditions are different — Iran is an ancient civilisation and a people who may not like their government but are still proud nationalists who will coalesce around an invader. Islam adherence varies in Iran and types of belief also vary but a Christian-Jewish attack would not go over well with even the most moderate Muslim Iranian. The failure of the Trump admin to understand this prior to the attack is bizarre — especially since successive American gov’ts from Reagan onward have known this and its been featured in military planning since the Reagan era.
“CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper announced that the United States has begun establishing a new safe passage for commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The route will be shared soon to restore confidence and ensure the free flow of commerce.
U.S. forces have already begun clearing Iranian-laid sea mines. Two Navy destroyers have transited the strait and are operating in the Gulf to secure the corridor.
Underwater drones are now being deployed to accelerate the mine-clearing effort.”
The reason tankers are going to Houston is simple — the refinery is there — it takes Canadian and Venezuelan heavy crude and mixes it with lighter Texas crude to produce various types of fuel. Canada doesn’t have the refineries — we don’t have lighter crude so we export our heavy crude to China and the US. Perhaps we should import lighter crude and have our own refinery — Pierre Trudeau proposed that in the early 1980s but Alberta didn’t want the federal gov’t to interfere and preferred the easier option just export
There appears to be some claims by Trump supporters that these tankers are coming to the US as opposed to the Persian Gulf but there’s been no confirmation of this story.
“There appears to be some claims by Trump supporters that these tankers are coming to the US as opposed to the Persian Gulf but there’s been no confirmation of this story.”
“This ain’t the Straits of Hormuz… THIS IS THE GULF OF AMERICA 🌊🇺🇸
Hundreds of supertankers from EVERY corner of the planet are racing to Texas & Louisiana to fill up on the sweetest, cheapest, most American oil on Earth!
While the world panics over Hormuz, President Trump just made the USA the #1 energy superpower again! Record exports. Record tankers. Record WINNING.”
“Democrats and media REALLY want you to know that they knew the entire time that Eric Swalwell was a deviant sex pest and didn’t say a damn word about it”
—-
And yet this useless clown never mentioned it, because he was a Dem.
“I’ve covered Eric Swawell since he was a member of the Dublin City Council. Shortly after being elected to Congress in 2013, his behavior towards women was known by all levels of our local government and the Alameda County Democratic Party.”
There’s nothing to indicate whether this is an increase, decrease or the same traffic as before. In addition, there’s nothing to indicate the nature of ships and their cargo. Finally there’s the difference in quality and type of petroleum — Canadian crude is heavy, Texas is lighter but Middle Eastern petrol is even lighter — each grade of oil produces different types of fuel, in many cases the fuel available in Houston will not match the fuel usually exported through the Straits of Hormuz.
You gave me a graphic showing me ship traffic. I have no way to know if this is an increase or decrease or the same as before the Straits were closed. I also have no information telling me if the material they are picking up in Houston is a substitute for the material tankers usually picked up in the Gulf. I do know that different types of crude oil produce different types of fuel. So the claim is inconclusive.
Its incumbent for those making the claim, like the tweet, that Houston is picking up the slack to produce enough evidence that one can make that conclusion so far the evidence is not there .
