  1. Morning! Hoping all had a blessed day yesterday. Our’s was quiet and peace filled just hanging around after church.
65 for a high today with some clouds lingering about. Winter has pretty much skipped us this year….

  2. Hmm-probably good about the candy, but then again, life is short and all things in moderation. 🙂 I did not have much candy, but my daughter made some very yummy desserts. The tradition in our family is to have a Pastry Puff made of Choux pastry filled with French vanilla creme and topped with chocolate. This year she made one that was gluten free so everyone could enjoy it. I would not have known the difference if I had not watched her make it.

I so enjoyed the Good Friday drama service and the Easter Sunday joyful service at our daughter’s church. We were blessed to see most of the grandchildren and our great granddaughter. Her mother didn’t come as she hasn’t for any holidays for at least a year. She tried to spoil it with nasty texts to our daughter, showing her lack of thankfulness, paranoia, and sense of entitlement. My grandson seems to be waking up to the futility of trying to please her. We all pray for her (him and his daughter) but there is nothing else to be done from us. How sin tries to divide and bring misery! Thank God for Resurrection Day!!

  3. yesterday there was a massive power outage due to one squirrel!! So,,, no power at church. It was wonderful. Dim lights and just one guitar and we used the hymnal. They found something to use for the pastor to speak

had a good time with family and learned more of what the granddaughters are planning for their Europe trip

  4. Jo that sounds like the most perfectly peaceful church service. And to think it just took a squirrel….thankful you had a sweet time with your family.

Aj that is just unheard of..no candy at all?!

I made a white coconut cake for dessert…whatever was left today was thrown out…I just don’t need that stuff staring at me!

Kathaleena that dessert sounds amazing! I do so enjoy anything puff pastry!

Praying your great granddaughter’s Mama will be drawn to know our Lord and that that little family will find rest in Him.

Forestry guys walked through our forest today checking out the health of our pines…our neighbor has one tree that must be removed by June due to beetle hits…we have a well mitigated and healthy forest in our area and most homeowners care….too bad our homeowners insurance doesn’t seem to care so much…our rates are ridiculous….I dread getting our bill in June!
