  1. And Dems will fight it tooth and nail, because they need victims of their no votes to hit Rs over the head with. They don’t give a crap about the workers.

  2. Yeah….

“Stephen Miller: “At the beginning of this administration, we asked every state, red and blue, to share with us their voter rolls so we could scrub it against the DHS file of illegal aliens to remove illegal aliens from their voter rolls.

Every blue state refused. California refused. Minnesota refused. New York refused. In fact, they sued us to stop us from removing illegal aliens from the voter rolls, removing non-citizens from the voter rolls.

But that’s not the only thing. They don’t even want to get dead people off the rolls. They don’t want to get felons off the rolls. They don’t want to get out-of-state voters off the rolls. They don’t want to get double and triple voters out of the count. Because they want the fraud.

This is the most important issue, Sean, because the Biden administration brought 20 million illegal aliens into this country and this is the way, the only way, to keep them from participating in our sacred democratic process.””

  3. VDH nails it again.

“Victor Davis Hanson has spent fifty years studying how wars end. When he says the tide is turning, it’s worth listening to why.

His argument isn’t based on what the Pentagon is saying. It’s based on how everyone else is behaving.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀. VDH’s rule: Europeans never agree to go anywhere near a conflict unless they think the winning side has already been determined. They didn’t help in the early days. Now they’re starting to move. That movement is not idealism. It’s a calculation. They’ve looked at the battlefield and decided which way this ends.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼-𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. The Saudis, the Emiratis, the Qataris — these governments have survived for generations by reading the regional climate with precision. When they expel Iranian military attachés, when they intercept Iranian missiles over their own capitals and say nothing about American strikes, when the UAE reaffirms its $1.4 trillion investment commitment to the United States mid-war — they are not making ideological statements. They are placing bets. And they are betting on the United States.

𝗔𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝘇𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗮. This is the one that should stop you cold. Al Jazeera — the Qatari state media network, historically critical of American military action, the network Tucker Carlson and the anti-war right love to cite against Israel — is now calling the U.S. bombing campaign brilliant and effective, and saying it has been underestimated. When the media outlet of a nation that hosts both the largest American air base in the Middle East and a Hamas political office starts praising American military effectiveness, the message is unmistakable: 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘸𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘯.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹. A-10 Warthogs and Apache helicopter gunships are now flying strike missions in Iranian airspace at will. VDH’s point: you only deploy those aircraft when there is effectively no air defense left to threaten them. They are slow, low-flying, close-support platforms. Their presence confirms what the Pentagon has been claiming — Iran has no meaningful air defense remaining.

Iran’s strategy now is rope-a-dope. Run out the clock. Wait for American public opinion to shift. Hope the midterms create political pressure on Trump to stop. It is the only play they have left.

VDH’s conclusion: if Trump sees it through — and he believes he will — the regime falls. Not in years. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻.”

  4. Lefties need a new meme, this one’s busted.

“According to the Wall Street Journal, citing multiple U.S. officials, Iran has targeted the joint U.S.-UK base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean with two intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBM). According to the report, one missile failed in flight whilst the other was engaged by a U.S. destroyer utilizing an SM-3 interceptor, but a successful interception was not confirmed. None of the missiles hit the base. This is notable as Iranian long-range precision fires have not previously been publicly assessed as having the range to hit such a target as Diego Garcia, as the base is some 4,000 kilometers from Iran proper.”

  5. And once again, the useless Bondi and Congressional Rs do nothing.

“Ilhan Omar caught trying to launder a million US taxpayer dollars to a fake Somalian owned “substance abuse” facility. The address is really a restaurant“

Uncovered the other day in one of our spending bills making its way through Congress was a $1 million earmark from Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, which was an earmark that was supposedly going to a substance abuse clinic. Which actually happened to be housed in a restaurant and run by three individuals that share the same residential address according to their IRS paperwork. Tons of red flags””

  6. VDH is annoying and I thought his neo-con approach to foreign policy was cosigned to the dustbin given its failure in Iraq and Afghanistan

The European interest in the current conflict is solely in the Straits and the movement of tankers. Its the only thing that unites them right now. Some countries like the UK are more supportive of Trump while others like Spain will have nothing to do with the US/Israel. There is no European consensus on the conflict. However, Trumps’ alternating between insulting and begging hasn’t helped. Trump has the world’s largest naval fleet yet he needs the EU to open the straits? Clearly the risks are too high. The Europeans understand this and are in all likelihood discussing with the Iranians (in back channels) how to open the Straits. They will not get involved in the actual conflict.

The Gulf States along with Saudi Arabia have a long-running rivalry with Iran for regional power status. The US has been supporting the Saudi side for decades. This is nothing new nor are the Gulf States placing bets on the winner — they picked a side decades ago.

People misunderstand Al Jeezera. It operates at arm’s length from the Qatari government. It operates as probably the most impartial news source in the Arab region. Citing the military effectiveness of the US bombing campaign is not placing bets or revealing a bias, its simply factual. The US is militarily effective — that’s well known, the question is about the political exit strategy and what are the objectives. Is regime change the exit strategy? Last night Trump suggested they were close to obtaining their objectives and were winding down. But what objectives. The Iran regime hasn’t been changed and appears to be stronger or at least more reactionary

Iran’s strategy has been simple this entire time — defensive measures coupled with punishing their regional rivalries. The idea of a rope a dope, run out the clock and wait to the mid-terms is an American framing for domestic consumption. The Iranians see very little difference between Republicans or Democrats – both parties support Israel. The Iranians will continue to throw out drones to military infrastructure in the Gulf and leverage the Straits to gain diplomatic and financial concessions elsewhere.
