NancyJill, that is so unsettling. Thankful for our piles and piles of snow! Hoping that they at least help in filling our sloughs and dugouts and ponds this spring.
We seem to be in a warming trend. It’s up to 53° this afternoon.
My friend in CA went on a cruise with a family she has assisted with a special needs son. They were scheduled to go to two different ports. One was the one hit by the drug cartel warfare. It was such a relief last night to hear they took off for a different port. She’d caught a cold and decided to stay on board ship. Wise choice. She is safely home. Praising God.
Bible study was really good this morning. I am glad it seems more like it was before we got bogged down in the Experiencing God study that lasted too long.
AJ – Are you expecting more snow tomorrow morning? Our forecast calls for another two or three inches. We already have had over twice as much snow as last winter, and it’s not over yet. 😦
I went into town and when I got home I smelled smoke. There was a fire 15 minutes north of us to the west of our country Hwy. 500 acres burned and thankfully those brave firefighters put it out! They took up planes for overhead drops of retardant. Some of the ranchers were evacuated and scurried to round up their animals…everyone is breathing a sigh of relief tonight! Thanking the Lord! 🙏
Thanking the Lord with you, NJ. That was quite a cl9se call and could have been so much worse. We had a house or apartment fire in Atlanta when the winds were so bad and it was a disaster with the quick spread.
The snow was wet and heavy, but cleared But now it’s in the 20s and what’s left is frozen.

We haven’t heard if those we know were in Puerta Vallarta got home safely yet or not.
I hope you get some snow soon Nancyjill, and no fires start. That is unsettling, for sure.
