Chas would say, “If you have anything to get done in January, you better do it.” I miss his comments, as well as those of the ones who have left for whatever reason – Kim, Mumsee, 6 Arrows, etc.
We are down to 23° on the slide to the teens overnight. Strangely, snow is all around us but we have sunshine and blue skies. The weather folks said it would be patchy. We are in the blue patch of the sky quilt.
We missed getting much of anything here except for the fierce wind that is scary this evening. We have a dusting but within an hour of here, 6 inches. Over on the zsC coast son is expecting 3’5 inchrs.
The tiny amount of snow we had blew away overnight. It’s 28° and creeping up to a few degrees higher than freezing today. I l9ve seeing sunshine despite the cold.
Janice our high was 58 today and the sun was out. We need to switch weather!! We are not used to this! Forecasts predict a snowier second half of February.
We went to church then headed to Castle Rock to lunch with our old neighbors. How I have missed them! A 3 hour lunch caught us up and we agreed that we need to meet more often. The Lord is so good to give us lasting friendships.
Good morning.

Weather people said snow is on the way to where we are. Still sunny.

Thankful it’s staying south this time. It will be a coastal event by the time it gets here.
Sorry Janice.
We still have all the snow from last Saturday, as it hasn’t been above freezing once since then.
This week we are supposed to hit 30 a few days at least.

Funny thing about weather forecasts. This next week has a day of “Mostly sunny” followed by a day of “Partly cloudy.” What’s the difference?

Six of one and half dozen of another?

This storm is evolving into a bomb cyclone. I have never heard of that type storm before.
